Alyssa is nothing short of amazing!! We have 2 extremely needy sphynx cats that are our literal…read morebabies. We both work from home so they're very used to having us around all day. We needed to leave town and of course leaving them was giving me major anxiety. I particularly was looking for a pet sitter that was available to do overnights and do their 3x/day feedings. I was impressed starting from the first meeting we had with Alyssa. She came prepared with a questionnaire and noted every little detail about each cat. Their likes, dislikes, feeding schedule, favorite toys, etc.... I really appreciated that as each of our cats are very different. And I also saw how well she interacted with them during that first meeting. Communication with her has been stellar. Alyssa takes the most amazing photos & sent lots of video updates too. Especially for someone like me who was a nervous wreck leaving them- getting constant updates from her really put my mind at ease. Any time I would check in- she would respond right away. One of our cats in particular is shy with strangers and I was worried that she wouldn't eat while we were gone. I gave Alyssa some recommendations as to how to coax her to eat and Alyssa was so patient with her and kept trying everything she can. And Alyssa was able to get her to eat every meal! I can tell that she was trying to do whatever she can so to make sure our cats were happy and comfortable (which they were!). Alyssa was also very respectful of our home. Even though she spent 3 days at our place- you wouldn't even know! She stripped the sheets, towels, & asked if there's anything else she can do so to make our arrival less stressful. Litter boxes/surrounding areas were spotless! She took amazing care of our home (and for people that are borderline ocd clean- that means a lot). I can't recommend her enough! Will definitely be using Alyssa the next time we need a pet sitter. P.S. She also happens to be the sweetest and has a very calming energy which I know pets gravitate toward.

They helped me learn that my Collie (double-coat, long hair) had shave coat, which explained why her fur had become extremely wiry and nearly impossible to detangle. Not only did they explain what was happening, but they also educated me on how to care for her coat properly at home. After their hard work and deep conditioning, her hair is actually soft and brushable again -- something I genuinely didn't think was possible. Here's the wild part: when we first got our puppy years ago, she was shaved by our first groomer. We found a new groomer to work on her after that and fell in love, but they ended up closing shop. Since then she's been to at least a dozen different groomers. Some continued shaving her coat, which only made the shave coat damage worse. The only groomer who ever came close was in Indiana. While I was looking Dog Oasis up to leave this review, I saw the old site and address an realized... this is the original place we fell in love with!!! I had no idea they moved locations. Everything suddenly made sense! Their pricing is more than fair for the level of care and expertise they provide, and I would trust them 100% with my pups. They're also clearly doodle specialists -- I see people bringing their doodles in all the time. I truly cannot say enough good things about the team, the work, or the facility. If you're looking for groomers who actually understand dogs and coats -- this is the place. (If you're searching online while their listing updates, their website is dogoasis.com.)

The facility felt very secure but was also super welcoming, and you can tell everyone we spoke with truly loves animals and treats all of their boarding dogs like their own. I honestly have no complaints and will absolutely bring our fur baby back here.

This is a popular spot, so when we initially reached out, we were put on their waitlist for a couple of months. Let me tell you - it is absolutely worth the wait to send your dog to PLP! Our pandemic puppy is almost 2, but she still has a lot of that youthful energy. It can be a struggle to get her the level of playtime she needs, and that's why I love dropping her off here 1-2 times a week. She comes back absolutely exhausted, and the photos PLP shares on its Facebook page are all the evidence I need to know that she's having a wonderful time! I also appreciate their "contactless" drop-off and pick-up system. When you arrive, you simply send the PLP team a text with your parking spot and your dog's name, and they'll bring them right out to you in less than five minutes. You don't even have to fuss with a credit card, as they keep one on file and charge you upon pick-up. We have yet to board our pup here overnight, but I have no doubt she'd be well looked after. PLP keeps someone on-site at all times - which cannot be said about many kennels in the area. I cannot recommend Peace Love and Paws enough. Your furry friend will absolutely love this local spot!

We LOVE Peace Love and Paws!…read more Ever since moving to the East side of Nashville, we had our eyes and hearts set on getting our little dude, Tucker, into Peace Love and Paws and we are beyond happy it happened! Brittany was a pleasure to communicate with at the start when we were getting Tucker set up to be a "student" here. Her, along with Darlene and Paige were always so cheerful, excited and kind in calls and emails. The process of getting him set up for school was so easy! We provided his records, along with details about him and then set a date up for a test run...and of course he passed and is now a full time student here! The way they work is by appointments, so you must choose days to have set appointments for your pup. We chose to have Tucker in school Tuesday and Thursday each week. If we need to cancel or shift, we send the team a note at least 24 hours in advance so they can let another pup come in his place. You can pay by the day or do a 10 or 20 day package which gets you a slight discount. We started with the 10 day package. Drop-off and pick-up are curbside, so you pull up and into a numbered spot, then text them your pets name and the number...then they come out to scoop em up, or bring them out at the end of the day. Easy and hassle free! They are located on the side of 65/24, which provides easy access from the highway, Trinity Lane, Dickerson Pike, Brick Church, etc... Another thing I enjoy and appreciate here is they post lots of pictures daily on their Facebook page. So, I can keep a check on all my little dudes new friends and his days! Overall, we are so happy to be part of the Peace Love and Paws family! Tucker goes bonkers when we say "school" at home, so we have to be careful!
