Madison Academy was playing music while the Madison County band was playing and after they were done playing, they stopped the music. I would put zero stars but, that's not an option IS IT. My child and His band was trying to play their songs and you Guys wouldn't stop with the music, I was trying to listen to their band and the music wouldn't stop. read more

Madison Academy has been a great place for my children to learn and grow, in a Christian environment. Classes are small, so they get the attention they need. There are plenty of extracurricular activities for all interests. read more

My daughter and our family have had a terrible experience at this school. It is far from a strong Christian-based education. They actually had a teacher speak about his addiction to pornography. When I spoke to the Principal about this, he said, "You would be surprised at what the kids know." I had to explain to my daughter what pornography is and, prior to our conversation, she was not aware. She attended a Christian school in another state that was about half the cost and provided a Christ-centered education. The children in her classes at Madison Academy swear all the time (using every word you can imagine), there is rampant bullying, some of the teachers barely teach at all, and they find ways to charge and charge and charge for everything that you do. They require that you purchase their merchandise, charge fees which are not approved by the parents, and (despite the high tuition) seem to run all extracurricular activities on a shoestring budget. Most important to us, our daughter has lost her innocence and this is something that we can't get back. read more

Quite simply the greatest High School available in all of North Alabama. With a spectacular history, amazing teaching staff, in an extraordinary location with loads of greenery. It is a stellar opportunity to "grow in wisdom and stature and in favor with God and man.". Go here to grow and learn and meet amazing people. A wonderful social life. I'm making money and I'm going to donate a lot to this school when I am "bigger". I couldn't be more proud of my high school. Thankfully, there are no "Gender Neutral Restrooms" and it isn't an issue of debate at this school and there are relatively few distractions. read more
