It has a very chic (but unintimidating) appearance to it and is really good value for money (the prices are on the window if you want to look before you go in - £25-£35 for a cut & blowdry). There is no customer car park but there is a public car park within walking distance. There is a vibrating massage chair which is used when you have your hair washed (although you can ask for it to be turned off if it's not your thing) and they are really good at using extra treatments on your hair if they think it needs it (there's no extra cost for this). The staff are friendly and knowledgeable and are more than happy to give advice if asked. One time I was there, a lady came in with a fringe that had been badly cut by another salon and they put it right at no cost. You're offered cappuccinos, coffees etc regularly and, best of all?, they always seem to have bowls of chocolates or sweets dotted around for you to tuck into plus up-to-date magazines to read. It doesn't get better than this!

When I arrived for my appointment Shenda took time to discuss my hair, my lifestyle, my requirements. During the blow-dry she took time to explain the technique, and even when finished extra hair caring tips. Ladies you all know what its like when at the end you cant wait to get home and wash your hair, and how you dread finding a new hairdresser Well I can honestly say, its been a long long time since I felt so pampered, listened to and important as a Customer. And I've got a great hair cut! The whole experience was thoroughly enjoyable, and a week later I am still as pleased with my cut as I was when I walked out of the saloon feeling a million dollars. For less than £20 I got just as good a job as I would have at a more expensive place with less of the pretentiousness that seems to come along with modern hair salons. The hairdressers are very friendly and when I explained my fear of hair cuts (I know, it's weird, I'm convinced they'll mess it up and it sends me into a panic) the lady cutting my hair was very understanding and did the cut quite slowly so I didn't freak out. When I was having my hair cut, one lady left with an amazing colour job (reddy blonde) that looked fantastic! I must confess that I'm useless with names so I can't recommend anyone in particular but they all seem to do a very good. I know several other people that have recently started using this salon and I'm yet to hear a bad word said about it. Definitely recommended.

This is a higher class salon than some with prices to match - a re style, cut and blow dry is around £38 minimum but this price does vary according to the stylist you get. The atmosphere is very stylish with a very comfortable seating area and I was offered a choice of free drinks upon arrival - from water, coffee, tea, pure juice, wine etc - it's up to you. The person who washed my hair did so very gently - a lovely head massage which was not too vigarous, follwed by lovely smelling shampoo and conditioner that left my hair shinyer than ever. The stylist went through every option and then he did his thing - what a transformation - for one thing he really listened to what I wanted and my tired hair was vibrant and sassy when I left.
