It was clear that I was in competent and caring hands to get my dental health on the right track. So far, I've had a dental cleaning and some gum treatment along with the new X-Rays and 3D scans of my teeth. My dental hygienist Tayjay has done a great job and Dr. Gustafson was very friendly and helped map out the next steps in my treatment plan which will include teeth whitening and new composite fillings. I had called around other dentists in the area and one well renown place wanted me to pay upfront for new X-Rays before they could even meet with me which was VERY off-putting and GM couldn't have been more different - they were welcoming, took a look under the hood before suggesting treatment plans, were transparent with pricing, and walked me through different payment options. TL;DR: Gustafson Morningstar has been great and I would definitely recommend them to others!

I would recommend seeing Dr. Morningstar if you do end up visiting their office. She has a pleasant demeanor. They have a very narrow driveway alongside the dark purple building. My first visits were with Dr. Somona, who's currently back in school and only working Saturdays. He's deaf, and went to high school close to where I grew up. (I found this out after talking with him during my first appointment.) Dr. Young's currently my dentist, and he does a really good job. Appointments can be difficult to book sometimes as I guess they're super busy. Some of the hygienists work faster than others. I literally had to tell one to please hurry up because she was moving so slow. The desk staff is nice, but took a while to learn my name. They NEVER take you early, and usually run at least 5 minutes (I've sat there up to 15 at times) behind schedule. It's not a common occurrence, but it happens enough that I had to mention it. Office is clean and in good working order, overall a great experience. Typical dentist office hours, so plan to leave work a little early to make your appointment on time. Overall a decent experience.

I've always struggled with severe anxiety at the dentist and have bounced from office to office in search of the 'unicorn' dentist -- and I finally found him: Dr. Young. There's something about his calm, reassuring presence that immediately puts you at ease. Even more impressive, the procedures are completely painless -- I didn't even feel the Novocaine injection. I recently had a root canal done, and it was genuinely pain-free. Dr. Young walks you through every step, takes the time to educate you, and whenever possible, offers multiple treatment options. I need to fill a missing tooth and always said I would never get an implant because the process seemed so painful and intense -- but now, I'm actually considering it, simply because I trust Dr. Young that much. I couldn't recommend him more.

I see Dr Michelle Rochlen most frequently but her Dad, Dr Gary Rochlen, has also treated me--always without fuss, drama, or pain. When I broke a tooth during an extremely bumpy flight one afternoon, Dr Gary stayed with his assistant and saw me that day even though my arrival time made him late to a holiday dinner with his family. He tried to save what he could, but ultimately had to get that tooth started for a crown that evening. Dr Michelle met me at the gym one Saturday for a quick peek when I thought something terrible had happened. I'll never forget these events and will always be grateful to them. Patients first. At the same time, I've never had the feeling that I was paying for someone's lavish lifestyle at this practice. Work is recommended *when needed,* NOT for an upsell. Every hygienist and assistant I've seen - and I've been coming here for years with my weird teeth - has been gentle and thorough.
