Confusing sign and I was unlucky. Every beer is $6 but not the Dogfish Head. How would anyone know?

Potential Bait and Switch that targets tourists. Be careful here. They advertise a price on their board above the beer taps, but do not honor it. It was the Dogfish Head...see photo. When asked, they said they could not erase it. Tape a piece of paper or something. They did tell me I wasn't the first to question their advertised prices...I guess I was just today's unlucky customer. Probably best to avoid Mad Pub.

Great spot to stop on John's pass for a drink and good vibes! Bartenders were friendly and service was great! Fun wall decor to read, TVs for sports, and games on tables to play. We had a great time!

Servers, Harley and Molly, are fun! Had a fun time on our vacation to celebrate our 32nd anniversary

Came here today while passing through. The reviews here on Yelp were good and they had a decent menu. We decided to try the Octoberfest menu . The beer was good. I will say try some samples before you just order some beer because you like the style somewhere else. The venue is really nice and has plenty of room for several large parties. They were setting up for a wedding reception as we left. The food was good but not great. The service was good and the staff attentive. I would come back if I was in the area

Our group ordered 2 French 75s and an espresso martini! Was the best drinks ever with the absolute best bartender. We may be back later for a night cap!

Specialty Gin Cocktail

We had an amazing experience at MAD PUB. We like craft cocktails and were wanting some specialty Gin drinks. The Bartender AJ made us some of the best cocktails we've had. AJ's experience and mastery in craft cocktails is something you'll want to check out at this place, so many great drinks, great vibe, and impeccable customer service makes this place an easy stop if you're at John's Pass.

Had to visit with brew pub while visiting the area. The decor inside was fun and so much to look at. I liked the tap selection. The flight samples were priced just right. It was here where I tasted "schofferhoffer" grapefruit and fell in love. I want to give a warm shout out to "Jennifer" who provided me, my cousin and boyfriend excellent service. We will be returning later on this year no doubt!

Tiki Tim’s Pub and Grill - Authentic Cheesesteaks!

5 STARS! Tiki Tim's…read morePub & Grill is a fantastic find. I see in another review a Yelper complains that it's not a tiki bar, but if you understand proper English, they're not claiming to be a tiki bar. The name says Pub & Grill. The bar's OWNER is Tiki Tim. That's his nickname, not a description of the bar. Yes there are some tiki type decorations, and yes, the place is actually a dive bar, But they have an absolutely fantastic kitchen so Tiki Tim's is well worth visiting. I ordered the Loaded Crab Cake Bloody Mary ($26.99). This exceptional Bloody Mary comes with a Bloody Mary Chaser! The chaser had 6 green olives. The Bloody Mary itself had: 4 pcs Celery 2 slices of Bacon 3 Mini tomatoes 4 lg shrimp 1 Crab cake burger It's a meal as well as a drink. Nice kick, too. The menu has several different Bloody Mary options. I also ordered the Blue Crab Fries ($14.51). A huge dollop of blue crab dip on seasoned fries. Enough dip for all the fries. Wing Man Gary (USAF pilot, retired) had the Tiki Burger ($14.51). Gary reports the burger was good but not exceptional. The menu has some fantastic offerings, I'll be back to try more!

We searched restaurants in the area and Tiki Tim's came up in our search. We started driving over; we weren't sure if we had the right directions because it took us into a residential area, but there it was!! There was a sign out front advertising the specials, and the windows were lit up with beer signs. We walked in and sat down at a large table. We were kind of in a hurry, so we walked up to the bar and asked the bartender about servers. She said that she was the only one there and she would be with us in a few minutes. We mentioned that we were kind of rushed, but she said that the kitchen was not backed up at all so once we ordered, it would be fast. The menu had a little bit of everything. My friend and I decided to split a Philly cheesesteak sandwich. ($15.55). It was definitely big enough for two and it was really delicious, piled high with meat, cheese, peppers, and onions. It also came with fries, which were really tasty. My sister ordered the cheesesteak salad. It was basically the cheesesteak fillings on top of spring mix. She also said it was really good.($14.50). The remaining 2 girls at our table had chicken wings with the "sweet heat" flavor. ($11.95). They loved the sauce and raved about how yummy they were. Overall the service was good. The food did come out really fast and we enjoyed all our lunches. We also had a few beers which were nice and cold. They do have a full liquor bar and apparently they are famous for their loaded Bloody Marys. This is a great spot for a quick lunch, a casual dinner watching sports, happy hour, late night drinks, or even breakfast. We noticed a few patrons arriving by golf carts and if I lived close by I'd visit often!

It's located in a strip mall, and for some reason I was surprised to find it as cute and yummy as I did (I know, I know, don't judge a book by its cover). Our waitress was great about helping me make sure I didn't get anything that I can't eat. I completely forgot what my seatmates order, but I ordered a burger and it was really good. It's served on sourdough toast, which is definitely one of my fave ways to get a burger!! The fries were good, too (I *really* wanted to eat more than I did, I just didn't have the room). Everyone enjoyed their dish. We were there for a late lunch, it wasn't noisy so we were able to have a good conversation (noisy places have always turned me off, I'm there with friends and want to talk for heaven's sake). If you're scrolling through reviews trying to decide where to go. STOP NOW. Look no further, this is where you need to be. I promise! :) Thank you for reading my review. It is what you would expect if you have been to one in the UK. I went for my birthday and it was like being out for a night in Bristol. You step inside and sit down to enjoy. The beers are traditional. Maybe of the draf is from the UK, Ireland, Denmark and more. It is all what you would find not only in the British Isles but from local markets in Scandinavia, Belgium, Germany, and more. It is a good way to have a pint. As for the meal itself, this is not fancy dining. Again, it is local. There is steak and kidney pie, fisherman's pie, cottacge pie, burgers, salads, and more. Of course, there is even fish and chips. And this is made the way they make it back in the UK. It is fresh fish (haddock) and coated just right. It is rich and tasty and willed with enjoyment. As for the fries, you can make a meal out of these alone even if it was the only thing to have with a beer. It was ideal. Again, freshly made and filled with flavor. People are talking. The team is ideal. The service great. And, as for the price, you can not beat that. It was what to expect. The place is on the main road, but it is hidden right in front of many of us, especially the seasonal tourists. Head over to the Horse and Jockey, and step back into a good English Pub right here in Florida.

Food was very good. Service by Sydney, not so much. Very inattentive and extremely slow.read more

I got one and it was hands down, the best pizza I had had since I moved to St Petersburg... so I decided to head back for a second round and a second opinion with one of my friends and my pup. We arrived and were greeted to the outside area, they immediately brought my pup some water with ice cubes.:: and got us our drinks... we ordered a pear Gorgonzola salad and a large NJ Hand tossed cheese pizza. It's a thinner style crust, super perfect crunch and I absolutely love their pizza sauce. Nothing overkill, just right. After two visits, I am now certain that I will go 15 minutes, out of my way, to get their pizza. My pup also got to meet her first peacock. the grounds around are a beautiful place to walk your pup, theirs a boat ramp just down the street. Highly recommend?

Only reason they're not getting a five is because I believe their prices are a little high for what you get. Draft beers $6 domestic. I ordered the meatball sub. The bartender suggested I get extra sauce but it's an extra $2. I opted not to because $16 for a meatball sub is the most I would ever spend. Then add another $2 that's $18 for a meatball sub really? I will say the bread was nice and crusty and lots of mozzarella cheese and the meatballs were exceptional so I guess you get what you pay for. My hubby got the burger with an egg, bacon, cheese $18 but he said it was delicious. Total bill without tip $51. Two beer, two sandwiches. We live in Clearwater but will definitely come back when we are in the area again.
