His staff Alfred, Ken and Din are just so awesome and make every day a happy day when we go diving with them. If you're staying in Cebu City or in Mactan island these are the guys to dive with. We actually did our Open Water diver course and Advanced course with them and got to stay with Simons lovely family. The course was very professional and great value for money. If you're in town you must go to Sidive!

Sonja plans everything and we just rolling with her, and she'd never disappointed! Amazing dive sites and, oh my God, swimming with the beautiful giant whale-sharks! Just speechless and a memory for a life time! We can't wait to go back to dive with Liquid Soul Dive - with our favorite/the most knowledgeable professional/instructors/dive masters. Shore entry night dives are our favourite.
Nudibranchs are a common sighting around the Mactan Island, and usually brings lots of joy for underwater photographers.
We are blessed with absolutely beautiful, vibrant and healthy corals on the coast of Mactan Island, Cebu.

A good friend wanted to come to Malapascua for a dive trip and we stumbled upon Sea Explorers…read more Making arrangements was a breeze since the dive shop is connected to two hotels, Ocean Vida and Buena Vida. I finally committed this dive trip to getting my AOW and EANx certs. Sea Explorers made arrangements for our private transfer and had a car waiting for us at our hotel which took us to the pier. Once we arrived at the hotel and dive shop, we were quickly greeted by Keith and went over details on how we make arrangements for our dive trips and paired me up with Alexandra would be my AOW instructor. Since our room wasn't ready until 2, we opted to join the 9:30 and 1:30 charters. Though the vis wasn't great, we did see some pretty cool things. The main attraction here are the thresher sharks where we were fortunate to see during one of the two times we went out. Again vis wasn't ideal but we were able to make them out. The other attraction are the Mandarinfish which come out at sunset to mate. Would definitely recommend Sea Explorers to anyone and am hoping to make it back here one day.
I contacted the company through another page: Buceo Malapascua and then I opted for scuba diving…read morewith them for safety they gave me and because ¡There are Spanish instructors! The facilities are small: A reception-shop, a store with diving equipment, a warehouse for storing the equipment you are using at that time, a small classroom with TV and video and an outdoor area where besides cleaning the equipment after each dive can leave drying. Malapascua is the paradise for watching and diving with threser sharks, but perhaps is a good place also to start diving. If you go to Malapascua don't hesitate to come here to ask about prices and ask for Rubi to consult doubts about diving or PADI.

It was just a side trip to our…read moreplanned Casaroro and Pulangbato Falls trip the next day but boy, we were pleasantly surprised by how beautiful the place was. How to Get There: We took a Ceres bus with Bayawan signage and asked the conductor to drop us off the corner to El Dorado. Fare was ₱19.00 and trip took about 20 minutes. Don't worry about missing the dropoff as it is pretty common and the conductor will tell you when you're there. Getting Inside Entrance fee is ₱200/person but is consumble. This gives you access to the beach as well as the restaurant. Keep your ticket as the restaurant staff will ask for it before taking your order. What to Do Inside Take pictures, lots of it. Head straight to their mini Boracay and start snapping like crazy. You'll see Apo Island from a far so pose and be ready to capture the moment. You can swim either on the pool or at the beach. It wasn't a great time to swim when we visited because of the strong ocea waves. The pool is smallish but is hot enough so you can dive into it without regretting your decision the moment you're in the water. Eat Eat Eat El Dorado Beach Resort has a full-kitchen so you'll have no problem with food. We ordered the pork chop and the one with cheese, gravy, and mushroom (forgot the name) and they were two of the best tasting dish we've tried (no kidding!). We also were offered complimentary salad and that too was awesome! When visiting, it's best to check in so you get to enjoy añl the amenities. You can walkin like we did but then you won't have access to their amazing looking accomodations. Two thumbs up! Must visit!

The Hotel is poorly connected to the beach. You have to go a poorly maintained road that takes you to a field full of garbage, where bridging the gap through a staircase, you reach the back of another hotel which communicates with beach. As for the infrastructure of the hotel, this has a pool and a very small green area. The Bar/restaurant, poolside, serves no meals and breakfast which is not included in the price, I found it expensive and scarce. Hotel staff is friendly and helpful, but you would always expect from a hotel. As for the room, it is spacious with a medium sized bathroom
