I broke down in Fort Lauderdale and Mac's towing showed up. Skip, the driver was knowledgeable about vehicles and knew right away what the problem was. He actually gave me the rundown of what to tell the mechanics so I wouldn't get ripped off. He also was a genuinely nice guy. I've had a few tow truck experiences in my life but this was the best experience by far. read more

Definite price gouging here! They think because BSO contracts with them gives them the right to charge outrageous prices to make it impossible for people to get their vehicles. And a month later they auction the vehicle. Also, they damage the vehicles and take things from the vehicles. read more

if I can give them 0 stars I wouldve! These people are the biggest crooks ! They towed my boyfriend's vehicle today and he had to pay $600 just to get it out the same day . They charged a fee for clean up when his car wasn't involved in an accident . He received his car and his bumper was off . I don't recommend this scamming place read more

breaking down on the side of the road early in the morning was not on my bingo card but Joe and Mike at Mac's Towing helped me out in an efficient and timely manner. They were amazing. I couldn't recommend them enough!!! read more

Thank you Mac's towing! My 2nd car had been stolen and stripped and Mac's towed it to their yard. John helped me with the items still in my car and was very sympathetic. I was so upset and they were like angels being so helpful! Whether your card is stolen or you just need a tow, don't hesitate calling Mac's. I also spoke with the manager, Debbie, and she was extremely helpful! read more

The Sevice couldn't have been better, requested a flat bed truck towing for our classic car that had broke down. The wait for this request I was told an hour wait but the roll back arrived in 40 minutes. The driver was the most courteous driver I have ever met, explained the towing process and told me to instruct him to stop if I was not comfortable during the process. He then drove my wife and I back to our home and not only unloaded the car but helped me push it into the garage. I would recommend the people to anyone in need of towing. read more

Make sure you'll keep all the receipts with you if you pay them any penny because they will pretend you never paid them and put a lien on your registration, and then they will try to get more money from you . Shady operations are going on at that place! read more

Complete incompetence. Went to get my vehicle and had to wait for hours because the driver left my keys in his shirt then at home!!! Then I was told not to get upset because accidents happen.. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!?!?! read more

Right, quick and did it right. Driver was prompt and polite. Quick pick up and good drop off. Would recommend!

I was sideswiped on the interstate, a younger male in his 20s came in a flatbed towing truck I asked him how much to take me and my car home he told me the amount with towing labor and 15miles I was curious on why it was so much so he happily explained it to me he was the most polite and professional young male I've met in a very long time 10/10 would do business with them again! read more

They had my car crushed and put an operators lien on my license. Aside from their shady and fabricated "fees", which does not abide by county laws and regulations. I am currently contesting them in court. read more

Total trash. Plays games with customers they don't like. Let it go.

this place is the worst towing company. i only had to deal with this company because i was in a car accident and bso towed my car here. they put a lien on my license. and stated that sent a certified letter. i never received the letter nor anything from the company saying the car was still their. the young lady is very very rude and has no feeling only for herself. the way she told to people is very bad and she need training on customer service. read more

I had a amazing experience here. The people were great and helped me through my issue. I met Tom and he was so nice and knowledgeable and polite. They have some amazing drivers especially this guy named Derek. He was pretty new but his skill level showed the high level of training he received. Also met a driver named Tim who seemed pretty grouchy at first but turned out to be a ok guy. I recommend this place to anyone. read more

Needed my car towed to a very close location (1/4 mile) and they charged me a fortune. My car pretty much broke down by their development and they still ripped me off. They had no one available and I waited for about 1 hour. Bad service. I recommend using the competition down the street. read more

The wife and I were traveling in our motorhome with or 3 dogs from Central PA to Hollywood, Fl. Spent the past 5 days driving, staying at various campgrounds overnight and today was to be the day we arrived. Well as Murphy's Law says things hit the fan. Go off I-95 at exit 20 to go to the campground. Just as we got to the end of the ramp at the light the RV died. So, here we are, not familiar with the area, blocking a lane of traffic. By the way, the Hollywood Police drove by us 3 times and never stopped. Anyway we found Mac's towing on our phones and called. Very helpful. Sent "Steve" out with a tow truck to help us out. Can't thank him enough. After a crappy day he made us laugh while hooking us up. In any case he towed us to the campground and got us in our site so we had a place to stay for the night. The tow bill was very reasonable for towing a 34" motorhome. Can't say enough good things about Mac's towing and Steve. read more

Don't ever call these guys for help. they tried to tell me my boy he couldn't get his subwoofers and amp that we're not connected to the car. Small Spanish kid asks us how much for the setup. We told him $350. Then he tried to call the guy in the office saying we couldn't take are stuff. As soon as I said something they want to switch it up as if there doing a favor. This tow company will hold your vehicle hostage so they can shake you down for whatever amount of $ they want. My pickup truck broke down while pulling a trailer in Florida which forced me to leave the trailer behind in a parking lot in order to get my truck to the dealer for a new transmission. When my truck was ready I flew back from out of state to pick it up and retrieve the trailer, but Macs had towed it. They first told me it would cost $361.00, but wouldn't release it until I gave them all kinds of paperwork proving I was authorized to pick it up. (They do this in order to increase storage charges) I had to stay overnight in a hotel and return the next morning with all the papers. I was then told it would cost $1070.00 to get it back. That's completely outrageous; they towed the trailer 6 miles. This is a lowlife business practice in the hopes that you cannot pay the charges so they can legally put a garagemen's lean on your equipment, and keep it or sell it. This company operates like a bunch of thieves in the night. QTI read more
