I was able to go to so many classes and I feel much stronger for it. The nutrition guide was a bit difficult for me because I am a pescatarian and it is very meat heavy, but they had seafood options, it was just repetitive, and I'm not much of a cook (even though they give you a foolproof guide). Therefore, I had a little trouble and veered a few times, and I am sure if I didn't I would have had even better progress. You get what you put into the challenge. All the instructors are super nice and helpful. They will come up to you during class to correct technique and make it a point to have contact with you at every class you attend. They are also great about reaching out and asking if you need any help with nutrition or classes. I was suppose to receive weekly emails, but the program head had some personal matters arise and a few things fell through on that end, but the classes were always available and it was a lot of self accountability. If you can commit to 6 weeks of trying to better yourself, this is the place you want to go to!

There is a healthy amount of teasing that makes you feel like you have been life long friends with all inside. They made me feel safe, comfortable, and able! He is a highly respected martial artist on an international scale. Having more than 30 years as a martial artist myself, I will tell you he's one of the best natural fighters I've ever seen, and his ability to instruct foundational techniques as well as advanced fighting skills is 2nd to none. He's top tier in the American Kenpo Karate Federation, and so are those Black Belts he's instructed. If you are a parent seeking a martial arts program to instruct, guide, inspire, as well as teach your kids how to legitimately protect themselves, Master Parson's program should be highly considered. If you (YOURSELF ) want to learn a genuine, no-nonsense style of self defense, I encourage you to attend his classes. And yes, he's a personal friend whom I'm very proud of; not just because of his fighting abilities, but his passion to teach those skills to anyone whom enters his Dojo. From beginners to advanced level fighters, his door is always open.

We're looking forward to our toddler joining there Badger program when he's of age. This is a great experience for all ages and families! What started out as a way to increase my daughter's intrinsic motivation and self discipline has turned into an ongoing family experience with us all working together towards being a family of black belts. Shout out to Mr Gregory for tailoring sessions to each persons unique abilities while still ensuring to push us out of our comfort zones, and for holding each student accountable to be their very best.

We wanted to get him involved in a physical activity but knew that he was not ready for team sports. When starting him I was very nervous not knowing how he would respond, but to my surprise, within the first month he flourished! Not only has his confidence, self-esteem and physical capabilities grown; he's completely came out of his shell and is eager to participate and speak in front of class! I've watched him grow tremendously with his sensory sensitivities, which have previously held him back from participating in many school and social activities. Mr. Gregory runs an excellent program that holds his students to a high standard not only teaching proper martial arts technique, self-defense, and discipline; but also many life skills that your child will be able to apply to all other aspects of life. As a parent watching class, I must admit that I have also walked away on numerous occasions with self defense techniques or discussion on life skills that I re-apply to myself. Thank you Mr. Gregory, Mr. Stromsoe (amazing instructor!) and the rest of the Legacy Martial Arts team for creating the perfect family martial arts program! To any parent reading this review, I promise that enrolling your child into Legacy Martial Arts is worth the investment.
