The Southwest Ranches Farmer's Market is located in the same lot as Haute Coffee and Mr. Rotisserie…read morefood trucks. It gets very crowded on the weekend making parking a bit of a challenge. This family owned farmers market is in it's own small building. It was very interesting to me because this is the first place I found that sells raw milk. It is not something I personally drink but advocates claim that the pasteurization of milk destroys the nutrients, enzymes, and good bacteria. Benefits of raw milk may include more nutrients, improved digestion, and enhanced immune function. Others believe that the benefits are outweighed by health risks associated with consuming raw dairy products. The raw products sold here state they are not for human consumption. In addition to raw milk they also sell raw milk kefir, raw yogurt, raw cheese, raw butter, and raw milk ice cream. Other products they sell include organic produce grown in Southwest Ranches, local honey, hormone free and grass fed meat and seafood, farm fresh eggs, bath and beauty products, bread, and fresh made key lime pies. Staff was on hand to helpfully answer customers questions. I do believe that food is medicine and that it can heal you. This market subscribes to that philosophy. It is a niche for people who don't mind paying more to know where there food comes from, want clean ingredients, or are into a particular lifestyle choice. If you are looking for a large selection or inexpensive prices, this is probably not for you but I enjoyed my visit.

Great spot to grab organic grass fed meats and dairy. They are pricey but so is anything grass fed…read moreor organic. They do sell local products. The only problem i have is for being a farmers market they don't really sell any produce, vegetables and fruits would be great when picking up our meats for the week. Staff and usual is sweet and very informative.

This amazing fruit hut is one of my favorite finds in recent months. Not only are the employees…read moreincredibly sweet, they're super knowledgeable on all of the exotic varieties they carry. I truly mean it when I say they have some of the coolest options in rotation. This isn't your run-of-the-mill fruit stand so you must stop by & have your horizons expanded. I'm not exaggerating when I say I've learned about (or tried) a new fruit on every visit. You'll find your regulars like oranges, apples, tomatoes, bananas & lemons but you'll also find so much more here; this is where the fun lies. Depending on the time of year they carry longan berries, yellow & red dragonfruit, prickly pear, sour tamarind, tangelos, guava & the list goes on. I love trying new things & I love fruit so this is place has quickly been put in rotation. I think the pricing is super fair considering you can't find some of this produce elsewhere. They also have a section where the super ripe fruit is at a discounted price. I like that they do this to promote buying them instead of wasting it. There's ample parking & although it's on a backroad of Davie, it's very easy to find. I choose to come here over a big grocery store any day of the week. Not only is supporting local farms a great thing, expanding your knowledge on fruits & vegetables is always a plus!

They…read morealso sell fresh sourdough bread that is made by a local baker and they sell fresh coconut water that you can drink directly from the coconut. They also have fresh sugar cane that they will press for you for sugar cane juice. The amount of exotic fruits they had was amazing and we ended up buying some longans which were sweet and delicious. They're related to the lychee family and I'm happy to have been able to try and buy something that was new to me. They had white, yellow, and red dragonfruit for those of you that like dragonfruit and I'll definitely be buying these on my next visit.. Most of the fruits they sell are from local farmers and it feels great to be able to support them. Jay the lady who helped me was very sweet and very helpful. They are located on a property that also has a place that sells tacos, a place that sells teas and a place that sells herbs. It's a very nice, relaxing area and I highly recommend you going to check it out.

Not only have they been here for well over 18 years, I've personally shopped here for at least 15…read more They're an awesome grocery store that carries all sorts of delicious things. Being right down the road, I come here whenever I'm looking for quality products that I won't second guess buying. With convenient business hours, an easy location to access, plenty of parking & staffed with solid employees, it's a great place to shop. While it should be noted that some products are more pricey than the standard grocery store, I have no problem paying a little extra for better quality. Whether you're looking for great cuts of meat, delicious burgers, fresh seafood or ripe fruits & vegetables then this is the place for you. Maybe not all locations are the same but this one is & has always been consistent. Even their bakery section is on point with serving freshly prepared items & keeping the display cases filled with all sorts of treats. I love their croissants, they're just the right amount of flakey & have a slight butteriness to them. Being a huge coffee fan, I turn to FM almost exclusively to restock nowadays. Every time I walk to the coffee section I love seeing the rows of barrels filled with beans. They carry both non-flavored & flavored while offering at least 10 of each to choose from. There's also a handful of decaf selections. I find joy in looking through the options, smelling the differences & being able to grind it up right there; doesn't get much fresher than that. It's also cool that you can get as little or as much as you want & it's super cheap. The employees are helpful & friendly. It's nice that the store is kept tidy & you'll see them actively cleaning. They run deals often & if you sign up to be a member you can get discounts. This is one of my favorite grocery stores in the area for sure.

No other store came close to having anything even similar to the delightful environment they used to have. I stopped coming here about three months ago despite living nearby. Barri, the female lead cashier is awesome. So is the lady, about 5'3 with dark hair in the bakery, not the bakery manager. Otherwise, this store has gone so downhill, it is kind of scary. For years they have had Home Depot buckets around the store. Collecting water that has been leaking from the roof. I have had drips of water fall.on me, even when it is not raining outside. Just nasty! Not only do I dislike HD but I certainly do not want to see their buckets all over the store where I buy food! I mentioned this to the store manager and he said it isn't their fault. They were in a landlord dispute. Welll, maybe close this location until the situation is fixed. It feels like a health hazard. Even their hot and fresh pizza went downhill fast. It was so good the first time I bought it and the second and third time was not good at all. I will leave it at this because I really could go.on and on. I called corporate twice and never received a call back. I did like shopping here at one point but it is just a memory now. Sad.
