I called days before her appointment to explain we did not have insurance and would be self pay. They said okay and gave a price of the procedure then a few days later I confirmed appt and said SELF PAY on it. When my daughter went to her appointment the front acted like they didnt know it was self pay & when Dr Peters saw her ALL of the sudden the place on face would be more "invasive" & we should wait until her insurance starts in April. (Im sure to commit insurance fraud) Because the place on her face looks the EXACT same. What has changed is that he can not charge whatever he wanted to insurance. After my husband called to argue with the front Dr Peters agreed to do the procedure but it would be TWO days later. I left work and went their office to get an explanation & found out they charged my credit card $79 for an office visit!!! I said he denied her service today why was I charged?? And their reasoning was that Dr Peters did see her briefly. They are CROOKS and FRAUDS! I cancelled all future appointments.

So cut them some slack from still being sleepy or tired. My appointment was at 7:20. After a few minutes of wait, I was brought to the exam room where a girl ( She did not introduce herself so I don't know who she is. Actually, none of the ladies I spoke to introduced themselves to me or say anything like "Hello, how are you". Though I did get a thank you and a hint of a smile after paying the $50 copay.) Dr. Mark seemed very professional but he looked really rushed and breathless when I met him. He shook my hand, ask a couple of questions, took a swab, then gave me a diagnosis of what he thinks it is. He then gave me a prescription and also said they will check the sample to verify. He then walks off the room. I think the whole exchange took at the most ( and I am being generous), 1 minute. He did not ask if I have any questions or other concerns. If you are the shy type, forget it. By the time you can bring yourself to ask, he would already be gone. The girl gave me the prescriptions and I did ask her how I can have a prescription when they've yet to test the sample swab. To which she responds that they think it is eczema. Note that in no time was she ever near me to examine my skin rash.

When my mother called, she was told that she was not in network, which conflicted with the information I had already verified. She even went in person to try to schedule an appointment and was told someone would call her back--but no one ever did. This back-and-forth continued for at least four months, and we were never able to successfully book a simple appointment. I don't appreciate the overall experience, especially when it comes to something as basic as scheduling. This may not reflect everyone's experience, but this was ours, and it was frustrating and disappointing and we will be booking an appointment elsewhere.
