My fiancé was getting ready to pull up to a pump but saw the man yelling at me so he sat there to see what was going on. So I chose to leave instead of engage with the already irate employee, and take my business elsewhere. It's sad that I can't go to a business that I frequent and feel comfortable anymore. I have a 3 car household and this is the only gas station I've gone to for the past few years since it's right by my home. This establishment will no longer receive our business. Which is a shame. Luckily there is another shell gas station just up the road.

Although Kroger is never pricier than the Nautical Mile Bp, it doesn't have the same great convenience that this gas station has. The Nautical Mile Bp has so many snacks, treats, and goodies to choose from inside, all at a low price. The Nautical Mile Bp also has OUTSTANDING service, the customer service is better than any gas station i've ever been to. The workers will always treat you with great tact no matter who you are or how you act to them; they are always helpful and maintain their cool. The transactions here are a breeze, no long lines, or waiting ever, even when this gas station is packed. The current gas price to me was low at $ 2.77 per gal, Compared to $ 2.88 in Macomb Township when I left at 9am. I used $0.50 rewards off the gas price to make my purchase $2.27. Instead of paying at the pump with a personal credit card, I went inside the building to pay with cash. The cashier behind glass was "Marsheila". She was very pleasant with a smile and knew her job, by asking me if I was a loyalty Kroger member and if I wanted to cash in points which I said yes. I gave her my cell phone with my Key Ring app already opened since I am organized ahead to scan it and verified the $0.50 credit off the price. She also thanked me and said have a nice day. That was great to hear at 3:25 in the afternoon after a long morning visiting with my Mom . This location area is busy on 13 Mile Road, across the street from Meijer store/ gas and from Speedway gas. All 3 fuel stations seem to be competitive with their prices or today they were All the same ! I'm glad they finally put up a new Kroger Fuel station here to assist customers after shopping for food. One can get back on the freeway and be on their way when needing gas or shopping. There are 12 digital pumps at the station so many Vehicles can stop to purchase gas, hot or cold beverages, snacks and even automotive supplies inside this little Fuel Center building. Outside the building is an Arctic Ice cooler chest selling bag ice for $1.99 per bag. And A blue rhino propane tank area is available at 19.99 The parking lot is rather small so it would be kind of tight to bring in a rig to fuel up for diesel and maneuver through the parking lot and exit. The Kroger gas location on Gratiot near 13 Mile Road is much bigger to accommodate semi trucks. FYI I noticed on my receipt that the phone number for this Kroger Fuel #74 is different than listed out on Yelp, so I did send Yelp team a comment message that the phone number is either incorrect or needs to be changed. Would help for future Yelp customers if needing INFORMATION to this location when traveling on the freeway.

Since I was old enough to realize we always went to the same place. It has changed ownership a few times over the years but it's always a great place to stop for gas or a quick necessity like a gallon of milk type deal. The folks who work here are SUPER SUPER friendly and always greet each person with a smile and I cannot think of a time i left there and the person behind the counter didn't tell me to have a good day. I like that. I'm a stickler for customer service and this Mobil is doing a darn good job. Now if only the price of gas would go down. Le Sigh!
