We chose Shane and Clear Vision Renovations because they were highly recommended by a friend. When the old door was finally removed, Shane and Mike had pointed out rotten wood around the door frame, and also rotten and moldy wood underneath of where the front door sat and also just inside of the front door where water had been coming through for years. Shane and Mike fixed everything. And replaced all rotted and damaged wood to brand new condition. The company we ordered the door from did not do their calculations correctly so the storm door was not going to be a possibility which was very upsetting because that was part of our dream to have the front door open and have fresh air coming through the screen on the storm door during nice weather. Shane and Mike made the impossible possible by building a custom build out with custom trim so that the storm door would fit into place and our door looks magnificent!!! My renovations included kitchen remodel( cabinets & counter), flooring work and whole interior painting cielings/wall including all doors and some exterior. His company also powerwashed the entire outside siding, driveway, porch and cleared gutters. Because of the previous tenant leaving so much clutter before renovations could start, his company additionally hauled away so work could begin on time. Furthermore this company doesnt take short cuts. They made several trips to get the proper matching siding needed for some damaged panels. Even though it took several days..they wanted to make sure it was perfect. My neighbors reported that the company worked morning until late evenings on several occasions. Extraordinary effort! He was patient when I was undecisive about paint color, and ensured my instructions were followed regarding work in the basement. I was not there, but he was my central coordination person between other contractors and my realestate agent.
