We did our due diligence and obtained four quotes for the job. JR was not the lowest bid but they were far below the top two. They brought it down cleanly with no damage to anyone's property. Jess and Ro are very friendly, professional and very safety oriented. We were very impressed with this job! Our neighbors commented on what a great job they did. We have a couple more trees that need to come down next year and JR is the only call we will make.

When I followed up by phone about 3 weeks later, she apologized and promised to send the estimate asap. Have heard nothing at all since then, about 4 weeks ago. If a small contractor doesn't want your business, why don't they just say so? I've wasted all this time waiting for their estimate when I could have been looking for another contractor who actually wanted to do the work. I'm in the middle of having an addition added. I signed the original contract in December and permits were secured in January. They did not start the construction on the project until April when the deck was removed. It is now mid September and I'm still waiting for the deck to be rebuilt. A few of the subcontractors have been great. A few have not. For the ones that are not, I keep getting excuses as to why they don't show up on site. Currently the deck guys have so many jobs going on that I haven't seen them in almost 2 weeks. I chose BLM because I thought they would be the best choice but if the subs have so many jobs in the works and don't finish one before starting the next then how is this responsible project management?

After a brief tour of our home, this contractor (who was from Bleeker, not BLM) wanted to dilute 90% of the work that was agreed upon in our contract. While the work he planned to do in our home was getting smaller, the quote was not. Even after months of waiting, BLM still did not have some of the key supplies that were needed, which would cause even more delays for me and my family. After our 4th, and final, walk-through, I had to ask BLM to leave my property.

The next morning they were here by eight and looked at all over and started. they were very meticulous and the work that they one and it turned out perfect. They communicated back-and-forth with me so I knew how their progress was going. After they were all done and got all their equipment out they cleaned up better than expected. The crew was professional and knowledgeable and did excellent work for a very fair price. I was very happy with both the quality of work and the time frame in which they were able to complete the work. The crew got everything done while I was at work myself and was extremely mindful and respectful of my home, treating it as if it was theirs, and cleaned everything beautifully when the job was completed.
