We have had the displeasure of losing 2 of our furry friends and both times we came here. We were allowed to cry holla sob and just look silly because our littles were leaving us. The staff are magical. From the reception staff to the vet nurses to the vets themselves. They are the most loving caring kind wonderful ppl I have met. If you are looking for a honest up front vet practice do not hestitate to come here. They will do you and your pet justice and treat both of you with respect and dignity. read more

History

Established in 1992.

The Bradbury Veterinary Clinic was purchased in 1992 by Drs Jacob and Margaret Michelsen. The clinic was relocated to new purpose-built premises in Jacaranda Avenue in 2000. The Macarthur Veterinary group now has 3 sites under the one banner, with clinics at Bradbury, Camden and MtAnnan. The group is owned and managed by a motivated group of 5 partner veterinarians - Dr Cathy Irwin, Dr Steven Ferguson, Dr Kirsty Ferguson, Dr Peter Harris & Dr Natalie Pyle, ably supported by a great team of 15 veterinarians and over 20 trained nurses. Our ongoing investment in state-of-the-art equipment and staff training, with a dedicated training budget, ensures that our team of vets and nurses remains at the cutting edge of veterinary science and have the resources they need to provide the best possible treatment for all animals in their care.

Meet the Business Owner: Cathy I.

Macarthur Vet Group is owned by a team of 5 partner veterinarians. Cathy Irwin manages our Bradbury clinic.Cathy has been working since 1991 in veterinary practice, mostly in small animal medicine and surgery. She also has a keen interest in behavioural medicine, oncology and chemotherapy, birds and other exotic animals. Cathy is currently working part time, also caring for her young family.

Have just been to take our little puppy today. Well she really is a dog now. We have been taking…read moreher since we go her. The puppy preschool program Is fantastic! Jo the vet nurse is very lovely!!! She always looks out for coco and is so good with dogs. We have seen lots of vets mostly Lisa who is great, and one of the owners who was a surgeon that operated when she broke her jaw and sewed in her teeth that she had lost. Would definitely recommend them particularly for dogs!!
