But the owners persisted and they kept their new business open in hopes of finding a steady clientele. I hope they succeed. Since it's located just beside Mr. Liempo where we are regular clients, I decided to give it a try. Or rather my wife decided to try it out, and I just took several sips of her milk tea. While she is an ardent lover of the various flavors available at Infinitea, she just had to try this new kid on the block. Well surprise, surprise. It's every bit as good as Infinitea. I have no idea what their secret is. I just know good milk tea when I taste it, and I've had my share of good and bad ones. Seasons Leaf is a small place. It looks like a typical apartment which was converted into a business. The only problem it faces is the large number of milk tea places in Better Living because as any marketing expert knows, having a good product is not enough. I'm hoping this place survives. They may need to add to their products because being a one-trick pony may not be good enough. As for me, everytime I buy a liempo at the stall beside them, I will give their other flavors a try.

One uncommon thing served here is Brown Sugar Pearls but, sad to say, they were out of stock. We were wondering if the time was a factor but it was 1:00 pm, and not a good time to run out. Lemon Green Tea was our choice since this type is usually more refreshing for us than milk tea. Of course, milk tea is already listed for next visit! Flavor hit the spot nicely even though the taste was a bit different (in a good way).

Does having 100% sugar have to secure the flavor of the beverage? My niece ordered a Chocolate milktea with pudding at 70% sugar and tasted so bland. My favourite, the Cake Milk Tea, is made of up of tini tapioca pearls and cake pudding, which you scrape off the sides of the cup, so that every taste is a merry marriage of textures. They offer a regular size cup for normal tea-sipping people but they also have a 1000cc for us addicts. If you can't imagine it by figures, think of a big ass cup that needs two hands to hold. There's something about their drink that really makes me feel filled and refreshed. I love the Taro Ice Special, which consists of their signature taro ice, sago and nata, plus taro pudding. They have added new flavors to the mix, but I remain loyal to my Taro Ice. One time though their Taro wasn't available, I tried their Cantaloupe milk tea. That was refreshing too.
