This is a charming little place that welcomes pets and has an exceptionally friendly staff. The food is fine, though it's clear they're trying a bit too hard to make their dishes look hipster and chic, sometimes at the expense of tradition and flavor. For example, the chilaquiles are made with packaged chips instead of freshly fried tortillas, and the molletes feel reversed--mostly melted cheese sitting on a small layer of beans, instead of the classic bolillo with beans and a touch of cheese. LOVE this place. Would return tomorrow but they're closed on Tuesdays. The setting is just lovely--all outdoor and a variety of seating options. Very friendly staff. We had the Avocado Toast and the Chia Pudding--both quite delicious. I also had an almond milk latte--actually, I had two. Ha! Such a lovely experience all around. read more

This place was a GREAT find for breakfast. I had a delicious lavender tea latte, and we shared the avocado toast and the chia pudding. It was nice to be able to get something healthier on our trip.
