Anyone who has moved after establishing a regular and effective regimen of neuromodulators and dermal fillers with a trustworthy provider understands the angst involved. I swear it's scarier than searching for a new GYN or hair stylist! I hunted around for months before landing at Cape Fear Aesthetics. I'd been receiving treatment with Dr. Dickerson for several years and was pretty satisfied. However, I am so grateful Ms. Boice is now part of the Cape Fear Aesthetics / Fayetteville Plastic Surgery team. She's one of the best things to happen to my face since sunscreen! I cannot say enough great things about Juile's expert care. She takes great care with each patient. I never feel rushed or silly in asking questions or when I bring in absurd numbers of selfies pointing out new areas for her to work on. Also, Ms. Boice is constantly seeking to perfect her craft. I mean, this lady is constantly attending Continuing Ed. trainings! Personally, I find that super cool and confidence-inspiring. And she's patient. Like most people, I have a couple of areas that drive me crazy. I focus on the crow's feet or tiny wrinkles around my eyes / tear troughs in every picture, and I complain about those areas at every visit. Every. Single. Visit. Instead of blowing me off or insisting only a surgeon could fix my complaints, she's worked with me and has discussed my "issues" at several trainings. I know she has because she's told me about those discussions and has returned from trainings with new ideas and treatment options that have really helped. I find that kind of creativity and patient-centered approach exciting and (for me at least) loyalty-inspiring. I was thrilled with the gift, and treasured it not only because at $150 it was the most expensive fragrance that I had ever owned, but also because I had been admiring the perfume for quite a while. My husband checked every department store at Cross Creek Mall for the perfume, but at the time, Perfume Bazaar was the only store in Cross Creek Mall that carried Flowerbomb in the store, all of the other stores offering the fragrance had to order it. After about 6 months of carefully storing my bottle in a dim area, I began to notice that there was a slightly-off scent when I initially sprayed the perfume. I also noticed that it appeared the color had darkened. After another couple of months, I was certain that the perfume was stale and could no longer tolerate wearing it. My husband and I were SO disappointed. I contacted Perfume Bazaar's manager and discussed the situation with him. He stated that there wasn't anything he could do, but that I should contact the store owner. I found his lack of autonomy strange, but went ahead and called the store manager. And called. And called. And left messages. Finally, I called the store manager again, and requested that he try calling the owner. The manager was nice, and he did as I requested and after a few days was able to reach the owner. I called the manager back (again) and was told that the owner would allow me to return my bottle of perfume of which 1/5 had been used (I used up to the first line/bend on the bottle), if I would pay an ADDITIONAL $90 to exchange it for a new bottle. I told him that I had already lost $150, and that to invest another $90 in a perfume that I was unsure would be fresh in a few months was unacceptable. Furthermore, having to leave multiple voice mails with the "Store Owner" and never getting a response was very poor customer service. The manager then told me that he could do no more, as their return policy is 30 days. I was so dissappointed about the loss of $150 dollars that I contacted Viktor & Rolf's customer service. I was e-mailed back that Viktor & Rolf would not help because Perfume Bazaar was not an authorized dealer! I used to work in fragrances at a department store, and a bottle of perfume that has been stored properly should last around 3 years. I was so dissappointed by my experience with Perfume Bazaar that I never repurchased Flowerbomb. It's scent is a reminder of a wasted $150.
