This is my 2nd review ! STAY AWAY FROM KARLA at this location . That girl does not know how to do makeup and had the WORST most unprofessional attitude from the minute I walked into the store .. I have been going to Mac for Makeup for many many years . Using various people . Bianca , Tiffany , angel , jeannine all different girls .. I have alway had the best experience. I left there so disappointed and disgusted . I was so excited about my event and this put such a damper on it . I have never been treated so disrespectful by any artist I have been given . One of my eyes was tearing from my allergies which has happened before so she decided to put eyeliner on the entire upper lid ???? Maybe liquid wasn't the way to go ? Any professional would have known that . She really did not know how to handle me ., never asked me to choose colors just decided to put plums on me ????? I usually do not have a good experience at this location, but there was a new MAC makeup artist that outshined the rest! Not only was her makeup gorgeous but her personality was friendly and helpful. The way she treats the customers is fantastic! She not only did my make-up but she taught me techniques and explained the products that she was used, why she used them and in what order they should be used. She listened to what I wanted, gave suggestions and achieved the exact look I wanted. She didn't rush me or force products onto me just to make a sale. She knows what she's doing and why she's doing it! My make-up turned out gorgeous and I got so many compliments; as long as she's there I will be a MAC Customer for life! Way to go MAC Valley Stream! I had empty containers to turn in for a free lipstick. I'm always shown the direction to go and look for the lipstick myself with no help. Luckily the young lady that called me next on the line was Ashley Persaud. She sat me down and asked what colors were in and out of my comfort zone then She came back with 6 different choices all cleaned and ready to try on. I decided on All Fired up. I mentioned her eye shadow and highlighter were beautiful and how I could never get it perfect. She gave me a mini makeover and needless to say I got everything she used on me. Ashley and her staff were so wonderful. Our group of girls wanted to get make-up tips on eye-shadow and foundation. Ashley helped us and made everyone look awesome. She also had a co-worker named Charlie that assisted in helping and everyone was very happy. This was a great opportunity for our girls to get complimentary services to prepare them for their Prom experience. MAC counter - Priscilla is truly a gem! She did my makeup for my birthday and I felt completely confident in her skill level. She managed to do my makeup all while assisting other people with their requests. I couldn't believe it.
