The staff is nice and helpful. There was an osteology exhibit this time and it was fascinating and well put together. They have a selection to pick from and all types of seating and studying spaces. Lots of computers for use and I even saw one guy watching a livrary movie on it. Never feels too crowded. I am always worried parking will be a problem, but I have found a close spot everytime I have come. There are homeless who use the facility, but I have never had any issues. None of them seemed to be on anything so security must be monitoring for that.

A nice sidewalk around the building if you want to stretch in the middle of your studies, and the interior is large and spacious for indoor stretching if it's 110 outside There is a teen corner that is kind of it's own room, and then there is a larger kids area that is more closed off with slim entries. This does a great job keeping the expected increased noise level of children quelled across the building. Other libraries suffer from this lack of design, so this is a great accommodation for the kids while being mindful of all others in the general space I wish they kept the carpeted ceilings tho lol

I recently spoke at my first City Hall meeting, and it was such an experience. Parking was easy at…read morethe Arts District garage, and I sure didn't have to walk far to get into City Hall. The building is beautiful and the staff is helpful: they know how to spot a deer in the headlights and are quick to offer help. I arrived by 8:30A to sign up to speak at a meeting that started at 9A. I turned in my form and waited for my agenda item, and then waited to be called to speak. Public speaking can be intimidating, especially when there are cameras, microphones, etc. But I think this is a valuable experience and I'm glad I've done it at least once. Our city can only improve if we all pay attention, get involved, and speak up.

One of the staff members (a man working at the front desk/checkout area) was extremely rude to us. Instead of offering help or speaking politely, he raised his voice and acted disrespectfully when we asked a simple question. It made my family feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. Libraries are supposed to be friendly, safe spaces for everyone, but this person's attitude completely ruined the visit. I hope management addresses this behavior so other families don't have to experience the same treatment.

Was driving around the state fair park and noticed this display so stopped. It's one of 4 cupolas…read moretht were salvaged from the Baum building in 1973 when it was demolished. There was a large movement to save it but the urban renewal of those days won out. It was atop a 5 story structure in the heart of downtown OKC built in 1909-1910. The cupolas adorned each corner of the bldg. It was nicknamed the Palace of the Prairie. Only 3 can be accounted for with mystery surrounding the 4th.
