Doug listened to what we wanted, what our budget is and came back as promised with his design. It was far more creative than other landscape contractors proposed. He was detailed in his choice of plants plus what we also suggested to include in his design. After signing our contract we had a time schedule from Doug and except for some thunderous rain storms, Doug and his crew finished on time and on budget. We are so pleased with the sincere nature of Doug's work ethic and concern to satisfy our expectations. Now we have curb appeal with a new stone side walk with gentle curves and random lighting built into the walk. Curved landscaping featuring many varieties of plants. The back deck was striped to the base and rebuilt with cedar. What a great difference our deck makes now. Again the old plants were removed, (some were recycled to another place in the back yard. They made time out of their busy day to come by, and did the job in under half an hour. It would of taken us the entire day, if we could even do it at all (the thing was stupid heavy.) I learned a lot just watching them work. We transplanted at the worst possible time while the shrub had started flowering, and we knew there was a high probability it wouldn't survive the transplant. However it's been three weeks and the shrub is blooming and alive, and we think this is largely due to how cleanly they cut the roots and how quickly and securely they got it back into the ground.
