One filling fell out already, and it hasn't even been a year. Anyway, I decided to give this place a shot. First off, every single person I interacted with here has not only been super friendly, but also very down to earth. My first appointment, I had a consult and filling. My dental hygienist, and I unfortunately didn't get her name, was amazing and super friendly. The dentist was as well. My next appointment, I had three fillings done to replace old fillings that had lost their integrity. Everyone here made me feel extremely comfortable, and I'm glad they still use "laughing gas" to help with the experience. I honestly had no issues with any of the fillings: I was off in my own world and content. My fillings feel good with no rough spots or anything. That's a huge plus since I get very weird when things don't feel right. So, the total after insurance for everything? 300 bucks. Seriously. That made me super happy to find a dentist with reasonable prices and solid work.

She was extremely nice and personable. Let me tell you: the music they were playing was super well-received by me. Usually it's boring music at offices such as this: here it was 90s and 00s alternative. Great touch! Savannah called my name and we started with all the tests and such. Honestly, I couldn't ask for a better person at an eye clinic. She was super nice, personable, and helpful. She totally understood my concerns and really made the experience great. Once we were done with initial testing, she left to update Dr. Greene on my concerns. Dr. Greene was absolutely excellent. She really put my care and concerns on the primary and let me choose how to proceed. No pressure, no talking down to me, just a great doctor. Bonus points: both Dr. Greene and Savannah were in masks and completely understood why I was masked up the entire time. Once we decided on a plan, it was time to pick out glasses. The glasses lady (I'm sorry, I can't remember her name) was very nice. However, I wish she had a bit more feedback for me. It took her a bit to really offer suggestions. The other thing was that the frames I was shown were pretty pricey. I'm not sure if any lower priced frames were offered here, and I will totally admit that was a bit on me. I like my glasses. I'm still in adjustment phase (think: the floor is convex oh no!); however, when I went to pick up my glasses, Savannah was at the front desk and helped me with my concerns about my new contacts. She took time to get lenses out and was quick to make adjustments to my contact prescription based on my preference and experience with the first pair. I'm wearing my 2nd pair of trial contacts, and my prescription will be based on what I like. Yay! I'm really into the 30 day trial run. No more settling!

I was happy to learn she opened an office in Weatherford. The interior of the office is well-maintained and decorated. It doesn't have that cold, clinical feel as you see in many dentist offices. I figured out they are huge on comfort. I did my x-rays, which the tech was great at communicating every step of the way. During the evaluation and cleaning, I sat in a heated, massaging dentist chair. I mean, who doesn't love a massage during a teeth cleaning? The tech asked a ton of questions: how I felt about my smile, problem areas, likes/dislikes, etc. She complimented me several times on my oral care, which I was happy for considering I hadn't received a professional cleaning since 2018. Dr. Cameron was super nice and personable. She made great suggestions about continued care and did a very thorough evaluation of my jaw, teeth, and overall oral situation. We have a few potential treatment plans, and she and Ashley were very great at detailing costs and procedures. Honestly, I could've talked to Ashley all day. Kindred I think, haha. Bonus: not only did I get the normal dental goodie bag, but I also received a bag of swag! I'm always a fan of goodies! During this time, we saw dentists and hygienist, that could not hold a candle to Stephens staff of 2000 -2006. Moving forward to this year. We have moved back to Oklahoma. I called Stephens office...which is 2.5 hours away for a dental appointment. The appointment was made 4 months out. The receptionist said she couldn't find my name in the computer. So she would send me the new patient info to fill out (which I DID NOT RECEIVE). During the 4 months, I was called twice to reschedule; for a reason never given. I graciously did - each time. I was text several times (in the 4 months) to remind me of my appointment. I replied YES. Since I did not receive the "New Patient" paperwork, assumed I was found in the computer. I received a call yesterday, asking if I was going to make the appt. I said "Yes, of course". Once we hung up, I remembered I needed the dentist to call in 6 pills of Amoxicillin, because I had bi-lateral knee replacement in 2018. And before any oral cleaning or dental work, I have to have amoxicillin. Amoxicillin is a basic antibiotic that is required prior surgery. I only needed 6 capsules. Three capsules prior, then 3 capsules after. This has not been a problem for the other dentists. BUT, it seems Stephens office, will not call the script in because " I was seen as a New Patient." I laughed and said, "I don't believe I fall into that category since he was the one who placed upper veneers in my mouth in 2005 and did extensive work on my husband." Receptionist..."sorry, we won't do that until we see you." I had to cancel the appointment I had for 4 months. Next appointment was another 4 months. I said "just forget it." Receptionist - OK no problem. Unbelievable! Unacceptable! Unprofessional! in the past 4 months! He might be a fair dentist, but his hygienist is who I wanted to see. Being a small town doctor, I think he and his staff would be more gracious. I was when THEY rescheduled each time. OUTCOME: I do not recommend this business. Appointments are changed, by the staff, a snarkiness in the receptionist, and a dentist who thinks he is too busy and his schedule is more important.

It has been a few weeks since I have been to my chiropractor at home, but since I have been traveling a lot, I was in need. I called yesterday morning to see if Dr. Wade was taking new clients and if they still accepted Aetna. Mary said yes to both and that they had an opening at 10a (it was 9a when I called). I arrived at my appointment 15 min early, which was a good thing because of the paperwork that one has to fill out being a new client. Mary was so nice and explained what she needed on each form. Mary also gave me recommendations for local restaurants in town when she learned I was visiting. Dr. Wade warmly welcomed me with a smile and sat me down for a few minutes to get my past medical history and to talk about why I was visiting him. After he got a grasp of my situation, he had me sit on the table so he could feel my spine, then he got to work. He put a TENS unit on my back (he called it something like E Stem) and after that treatment, used a massager to relax my muscles. Dr. Wade manually manipulated my hip, spine, and neck, which audibly, you thought I was a porcelain he shattered, but physically, I felt magnificent. After my treatment, Dr. Wade explained to me how he fixed my back and what it did to each portion of my spine. For someone who has a background in biology and anatomy, I really appreciated this. I am coming back this Friday before I leave town. I highly recommend Dr. Wade!!
