For the locations, they are literally the only thing around for miles. For an initial review I have to go with 4 stars. My GF and I were on a Sunday drive and needed drink and snack for our journey. Even though they are in the middle of nowhere they have reasonable prices and good selection. Note, if you want to use a debit card there is a $5 minimum or they charge you a service fee of 50 cents. Daily meal specials are posted on a board on the far side of the store in the Restaurant area. Good selection from day to day. We didn't try, so I can't comment on service or food itself. Good place to grab last minute stuff you may have forgot before heading to the river or if you are heading out on a Sunday afternoon drive.

Really the only negative I have is…read morethat it can be tricky to get out of this place if you are turning left and it's between say 5:00 and 6:30 pm .... there can be a lot of traffic --- spaced out just right - so you aren't able to pull out. As for the gas station, prices are good! In fact they are about the same price as the lowest places in the area and they don't have any gimmicks to get that pricing. Plenty of pumps so you shouldn't have to be waiting on one to open up. Store is serviceable and has a pretty good selection of stuff. Normal snacks and drinks can be found. If you buy stuff, the staff are always friendly - otherwise you probably won't have any interactions with them. Would recommend this location.

I vape and its become my favorite spot to grab vapes from because the variety they have is decent and is just right up the street from my home, but after today I won't be going in this store or suggesting any of my family or friends to return to this store again. I've always requested to have whoever was behind the counter get the vape of my choice for me and each time they have said " You can just come back here and grab whichever one you need, there's a sign that says as long as you are 21 you can come behind and grab the vape." Today around 1:20PM 11/18/2024 I went in to grab my vape as I have been for a few weeks now after numerous employees have stated that it is fine to do on multiple occasions and the owner came behind me as I was grabbing the vape and said "How can I help you?" I said just grabbing the vape of my choice" He then said "Well this is my shift and I don't allow people behind here." I then said "I've had other clerks say its fine to come back here and grab the product that I need and bring it to the counter." He then said so aggressively and rudely "Well this is my shift and my store and I don't want anyone coming behind here" (CLEARLY there is a sign that says "Must be 21 to enter" - Why have a sign inviting customers to come back there and grab their products if the owner is just going to rudely tell customers to leave from behind it) Very Rude, Very Hostile. I ended up just putting the vape back on the counter and walking out because he was so rude and had the worst attitude I've ever experienced from this store, and if this is who the owner is and how he treats customers I will never come back here again. He made what was a great day and simple trip to run to the gas station and grab a few snacks and a vape into a terrible and hostile experience that I never want to go back. If this is who the other employees are working for that are so nice, generous and helpful, I feel really sorry for them for who they work for behind closed doors.

My 20 year old ran into the store yelling for someone to help her and to call 911. The " so called" blonde manager said: you need to leave because you are banned. She was banned last year when she was getting gas, her friend walked out of the store without paying for an ice. My daughter would not have it and walked in to pay for it herself and that same manager would not hear anything she was saying, nor accept payment. So, because of that, NO ONE INCLUDING MANAGEMENT CALLED FORBAN AMBULANCE. My daughter had to put her in the car,crush home up on Nocalula Mt and me call for an ambulance. I didn't think the EMTs were going to get her breathing and back conscious. I'm sitting here now in the ER at Gadsden Regional because we have great Fire Gighters, First Respinders and an excellent AMBULANCE service. What we don't have is competent management with blatant disregard for human life RUNNING Cicle K on Meighan Blvd. I called to get the corporate number, she didn't know it and told me to Google it. This management team can't call an ambulance for a 14 year old unconscious in their parking lot but they can go out and smoke and kick it with every Crack head loitering the parking lot, daily!

Lot's of choices as far as fountain style drinks (frozen or not) and coffee with all the trimmings. Also, and apparently popular since there was only a single six pack remaining, they carry local (Birmingham) crafted beer from Ghost Train. Normal variety of snacks and drinks can be found (chips, candy, pastries, coke and pepsi products as well as beer). They also have a few heated items (think dogs). Overall, very comparable with any other gas station as far as convenience store products/pricing. I wouldn't have a problem using these guys again.
