If I could leave zero stars, I would. M & C Towing completely took advantage of my daughter after she was in an accident. They picked up her car, towed it to their yard, and when she went to pick it up the very next day, the bill was $1,500 -- outrageous for a single day of storage and a short tow. To make matters worse, they refused to take my credit card over the phone (I'm her dad) and demanded cash only. That forced me to scramble to get cash to her, which was highly inconvenient and unnecessary. The fact that they only accept cash raises serious concerns about their business practices and whether they're avoiding taxes. This was predatory, unfair, and absolutely unprofessional. In my opinion, they are complete crooks. I strongly warn anyone against using this company. read more

This is what I just wrote to AAA- The tow truck driver (David) was amazing! He had to go through a lot of effort to get my car on their truck from the location parked. He was patient and professional. My driveway he had to drop the car (3 hours away) is VERY challenging and he did it with ease. Very polite and good at his job. so when it was snowing really bad , i had someone get stuck in a ditch never once called these people , they seen my person get stuck and pulled them out never once did i say it was ok , never signed anything NOTHING and than they want to hit us with a bill for $175 and call me and be completely rude and than when i was trying to talk to him he said fuck it and hung up after he said he was going to turn us into collections !! He has been causing trouble and making life miserable for the entire neighborhood. Clinton is the man! We recently broke down on our way into town and he came to give us a tow but he went above and beyond by helping us to look under the hood (even under the vehicle) for a while and even ran to the auto parts store as they were closing. We were hoping it was a simple fix with the fuel filter, but when it turned out to still not work, he towed us to the local Motel 6 and then to the auto shop in the morning. He took us to Finishing Touch Automotive and they hooked us up!! We would never have known about them if not for Clinton- he was super at making a stressful situation into a manageable one and very professional to work with while at the same time a nice touch of small-town hospitality. If we ever break down in Klamath Falls again, we are totally going to call him for a tow! (maybe even a beer) read more

My experience with M&C Towing was horrible. I hit black ice flipped and rolled my SUV over an 8' embankment. Thank the Lord I did not get seriously hurt. State Police called the tow company M&C Towing located at 3322 Laverne Ave Klamath Falls OR was very quick to get my car out of the ditch. As a matter of fact he had it out and on the truck in about 10 minutes. I was able to get my phone, wallet, and glasses out of the car before the officer took me into town to wait for family to get me.The vehicle was taken to their yard which was approximately 15 miles away from the crash site. What happens next is where it gets ugly. Later that afternoon when my kids came to pick me up (I live 90 miles away from Klamath Falls ) I called them and asked to know how much it was going to cost for the tow bill. The person asked if I had insurance and I said that I only have liability and no towing. He then told that my tow bill was over a $1,000.00. I was shocked and said that this price for the tow was %$###&**@#$ then I was told not be upset and cuss or this conversation was over. I was told this was their standard rate and there was nothing I can do about it so either shut up and pay or you don't get your vehicle back. By the way we only take cash. I had to call the State Police to go and try and get my personal belongings out of the car because I was not allowed at all could not get my stuff out or go onto the yard without paying the bill. Additionally, did I mention the bill had to be paid in cash. This is the only form of payment they can accept (what kind of a businesses does that) Who has over a thousand dollars cash on them at all times. They are in business to steal peoples vehicles that do not have over a thousand dollars cash for a 15 mile tow. Employees were very helpful at first to tow my SUV but when they demand the overpriced fee for service their attitude turns abrupt,rude, abusive, and impolite to say the least. My only regret is after crashing my vehicle and while still in shock I did not have the presence of mind to find out how much they charge for less than an hours work. 15 min there, 10 minutes pulling it out of the ditch and onto the truck, 5 min tying it down and 15 min back to the yard. The company can get away with price gouging because it is legal when the State Police calls you a tow truck. I did not have the thousand in cash so they took my car. read more

M&C towing was sent out to open my car because I locked my keys inside. The young man that showed up wasn't even in a company vehicle. He scratched up the paint around both doors and tore holes in the weather stripping around both doors of my 2011 Toyota. When I realized what he was doing to my car and asked him to stop and call his boss he told me he didn't have his bosses phone number. Then he had the nerve to turn to me and say "maybe you did this damage." After I made a claim with my roadside service the owner finally called me and tried again to blame me again. This is a shady company and a company that takes no responsibility for their employees. Call someone else!! read more

This towing company was recommended by a mechanic because my SUV wouldn't start and I need a tow down to the mechanic. I called and left a message, nobody got back to me which wasn't a problem because they do state on their outgoing message a recommendation to call back in a little while if they do not answer. When I called back a little while later and spoke to someone on the phone, I was promptly told that they could not help me. I understand being really swamped and not being able to offer assistance at a particular time but I was pretty much told that I was just out of luck and that they couldn't do it. I asked if there might be another time and was, again, told 'no.' Too bad, I guess I'll give my money to a towing company that wants it. Also, I am hoping that someone else might have the ability to refrain from being rude and speaking to me like I just do not matter to them. :/ read more
