The trees they planted were not the right species and they were planted wrong according to one of their crew members - the owner of company was going to charge me to re-do the work and at full price! The wife/owner was nice enough to take out the trees which were DEAD by July and the husband/owner never contacted me again. I treat my contractors very well and I was insulted after $ tips, great referrals, and great reviews that I made sure I provided, Frider (company owner) didn't come through for me. You knew we wanted evergreens and your only knowledgeable crew member who's worked in plant husbandry told your wife and me that the planting was not done right. UPDATE(1 week later): After Jose and his amazing crew came to remove our boarder hedges, we had 3 different fences installed (stockade, picket and vinyl with double gates across driveway) and our deck stairs fixed. Jose offered suggestions and solutions, remained in constant contact with us during the many projects and even fixed my neighbors cracked post! He created an amazing new walkway to the new deck stairs and helped to install a small piece of lattice under the deck. He is legit a jack of all trades. I absolutely recommend Jose to anyone weary of picking a company for any of the services we have had completed. I was fascinated watching them not FELL trees, but literally disassemble trees. They have removed several trees exceeding 100 feet each, in a congested area. carefully cutting and lowering each section off of a rope belay. None of the loud yelling and foul language that I have personally experienced watching some companies work. They are cleaning up their work areas as they go leaving no major mess for the homeowner to deal with or for Patti and me, as the neighbors, to have to look at.
