She had contacted other studios, but Arthur Murray was responsive and helpful in explaining things. All of the instructors are great, and the owners run a very professional business, no high pressure sales pitches here. They want you to love dancing as much as they very obviously do. We've met a wonderful variety of people through the classes here. Some singles, some couples, some younger, some older. You pay for private instruction and can attend any of the group classes at your level for free. If you take advantage of this, it brings the hourly rate for your dance experience down to very reasonable levels (down from "expensive but worth it" levels - 1 on 1 teaching from a pro isn't cheap). Our experience is that the studio focuses on your pleasure in learning to dance, in other words they are trying to build a repeat business and steady clientele. A positive example of this is couples who sign up for wedding dance lessons and then continue. There is little pressure to sign up for additional events or expensive competitions. What this means for you is that you will learn the dances you want to learn at the pace that you want. Your instructor will be supportive of your goals as a dancer. And you will have fun.

By the time we found parking it was 12:05pm we scored a great spot a block away) and we called Briana to advise we were walking up now.
