I have had neck pain and TMJ for nearly 25 years, after a car accident in high school. Vertigo developed in college. My ENT says it is cervicogenic vertigo, which is accompanied by neck pain. At my initial appt. Dr. Laura used her infrared computer system to scan my vertebrae and find all of my misalignments and then physically checked my posture, etc. She has been making adjustments to the occipital bone in my skull and my neck hasn't felt this good in as long as I can remember! I am shocked how much better I felt in only one treatment! I have had chiropractic and physical therapy before and nothing has made this much of a difference. My neck looks longer, feels less jammed up and my mobility is finally normal. It is amazing! No vertigo or dizziness yet either. I had a dull headache that was instantly fixed too. My jaw swelling went down and my TMJ is a lot better. She is also treating my back pain. Before even examining me (just chatting casually) she could tell my tailbone was out of alignment. She listens closely to concerns, takes the time to assess individual needs and conditions, and is always gentle and never forceful in manipulation. She's as skilled with the activator as she is manual adjustment, and lets the patient choose whatever feels comfortable for that visit. I enjoyed the acupuncture so much, that I have continued to see Eva at Sagrada. It is so peaceful out on their property, and in the treatment room, I feel like I could stay forever! I've found acupuncture to be helpful for aches and pains, but it also has helped me with my anxiety issue. Eva is so kind, good at explaining and identifying what needs to be done, and she has a gentle touch. I have referred many friends to her and would recommend visiting her if you need help recovering from an injury or problem. Well it's been almost 3 years and my knee is way worse than it was before the surgery. I deeply, deeply regret letting Dr. Renee Smith talk me into having the surgery. It was a horrible idea and it actually has completely ruined my body. I have had subsequent other injuries because of the continued inflammation and instability of the knee that was pretty much okay before but had just bothered me a little bit off and on for a long time and she gave me the impression that this would help me. In fact she even said when I complained afterwards that it seemed worse that she figured "It was worth it if there was an 85% Improvement in my quality of life". There has FOR SURE been an 85% DECREASE in my quality of life since the surgery. I am enormously regretful. It did permanent damage to my body and has caused other injuries. HORRIBLE. I've actually talked to a lot of people who rub their fingers together and say yeah it's very lucrative for them to suggest the surgery it's quick and easy for them but it's thousands of dollars in their pocket and have talked to a bunch of people who have had the same surgery and regret it and say they are worse off now. This is a horrible disservice to do to people and I'm hearing this story again and again. Oh, and I've been told by other more competent doctors after she slaughtered me that you are 60% more likely to have arthritis in a knee after having even an arthroscopic surgery. I can tell it's already happening and I'm not that old. She is lucky that I am not litigious because I probably have a viable claim to a medical malpractice lawsuit case.

His office is out of his home in Los Osos (he closed his office in Morro Bay a few years ago) and so his hours are super flexible. He said he can take people on weekends too. Anyway, for a $75 "travelers deal," he saved my back and provided me with almost immediate relief. He has all kinds of cool chiropractic tools and did a thorough job of listening to my complaints and addressing my problem areas. 12 hrs later and I feel a hundred times better! Hidden gem.
