The wines alone would have been amazing, but paired with the cheese it made for a truly excellent experience. The owner of the cheese shop was super enthusiastic about how he had just started the business seven months ago and how he was doing well. His passion for cheese and offering to share a taste of anything we wanted outside of the norm was very cool. If I lived in the area i'd make this shop a regular spot to score my cheese.

The duck was juicy and well done but for me there were a bit too many sweet and sour things surrounding it, such as a pickled leek and sweet turnip mash. It didn't seem well balanced I loved the roasted pineapple, it was extremely juicy and the slight char gave it a nice bitter taste to complement the sweetness. Plus the sorbet on top added a whole new level to it. I've attached the meals of the other two in my party. They got appetizer- prawns and tuna, meal - lamb and meagre (fish), and dessert- macaron and la praline.
