After returning to the shop, it was discovered that the tire rods needed replacing, which caused the premature wear. The shop was fantastic and stood by their work. The necessary repairs were completed quickly and accurately, and the owner provided some much appreciated discounts to help with the replacement tires and labor, even through the tire rods and camber bolts needing replacement may not have been visible during the initial work. I highly recommend this shop simply due to the willingness to stand by their work and their integrity.

Then after we told the young girl working the front office that the tires was in the back of the truck she had them do the tire install. Then when they was using the tire machine to mount new tires one of the employees put a big deep scratch in my rim. See photos below, but instead of telling me they tried to hide it by throwing mud and black tar like substance on it to hide the mess up. It is a very shady place that do not care about the customer nor honor anything . Stay away from this place .

Had Smith automotive put on shocks. I told them explicitly that I didn't want to put cheap shocks…read moreon. I wanted something at least in the mid range price point. Two years after installation, they have collapsed and I need another set. That's not my worst experience. I had them do the tune up where the serpentine belt, water pump, tensioners were replaced. Not a cheap job. The "Tune Up" lasted around 5000 miles before my wife and I found ourselves stranded on Wendover Ave., Greensboro. This is a very busy road and we were in a dangerous position after the car stopped. The car just died suddenly. The car was towed to a AAA recommended shop. They diagnosed the problem as the serpentine belt having slipped. The most likely cause of the problem was failure to replace the tensioners or put in quality tensioners. Later, into the teardown, the belt was found to be two notches off. We were told that there was a possibility that the belt was put in one notch off originally. This made sense as the car seemed to have more power after the repair. We have since traveled 15k with the new tune up with no problems. This car has am interference engine. We are lucky that the shop's incompetence or, doing jobs on the cheap, did not result in the destruction of the engine!!! AVOID this shop if possible!!!

I use this location from time to time for a quick oil change also. The speed of service depends on how busy they are. Im giving three stars is because someone forgot to put the caps back on my tire stems. It was a gift from my spouse of silver grenades. I called and was told they were not there and they are not responsible for them. So if you need tire work done I recommend taking your own caps off and putting them back on later if they are custom.
