I have been with Dr. Crall for about 2.5 years now... he is a caring, and helpful doctor. Excellent communications... he even has on online portal and is very responsive to messages sent to him that way. You can also schedule appointments and view medical records online. He does not use insurance, and has a monthly membership type of practice... but provides excellent care for less than what most insurance would cost anyway... as long as you don't need expensive procedures. And even then... he knowa where to go to get the lowest prices on self-pay cash-pay procedures. I have recommended several people to him, and they really like him too! Highly Recommended!

Dr. Crall is that plus he really takes his time to understand every aspect of his patient's health and is extremely thorough, all while, unlike other Drs, not in a "I'm in a hurry but have to pretend like I'm not and have to listen to your long-winded explanation" fake sort of way. Those extras, combined with his staff, especially Kara, blow my old Dr. and his staff out of the water! Wonderful service, can't recommend them enough. Not only found a diamond in the rough, I believe I found the Hope Diamond.

We have not been disappointed with Dr. Odom, Caitlin Michalak, PA, or any of his staff. They have always been professional with both my husband and I (my husband has several medical conditions and each has been well addressed by Dr. Odom or his staff, or we have been recommended to specialists who have also met or exceeded our expectations). The staff is young, very friendly and refreshing. We do not dread going to see our doctors at this office as we have some in the past.

You have to be buzzed in and out of the door. I guess maybe that's normal with most doctors? The practice that I've always gone do never had that. It was very open and friendly. I only saw Dr. Odom twice. He seems like a very nice man. He took pretty good care of both my husband and I. Overall, I don't see much problem with him. His PA, Dr. Meadows, is a different story. I saw her one multiple occasions. She seemed pretty decent, not as personable as doctors I've had before, but at this point I hope to never visit her again. I had a skin tag on my calf. I thought nothing of it, it was a skin tag and showed no negative signs. Then one day, out of the blue, after having had it for months, I started cutting it with my razor when I shaved. Okay, annoying, but nothing big. So when i went to the doctor the next time, I mentioned it. I just wanted to make sure I didn't need to worry about it. She suggested freezing it off. Okay, sounds great. So she does. She warns me it'll get worse before better, but that's all she says, and I am not thinking, so I don't ask more. Two weeks later it still looks awful. I call to ask if it's suppose to look that bad for that long...they say it's fine, give it another week. The next week it's still awful. It's the size of a dime, which the tag was like the size of the head of a nail, and I read online that you're not suppose to freeze much, if any, of the surrounding tissue. Dr. Odom decides he wants to look at it. He tells me that it's fine and if it gets worse, come back, after having stared at it for a lot longer than I would have thought it would take to think it's fine. Now it's 4-5 months later and I still have a dine sized purpley-grey scar on the middle of my calf. If I would have known that would have happened I would have kept the tiny skin colored skin tag that you couldn't even see! Oh, and this office has a tendency to have LONG waits. I once waited 20 minutes in the lobby, was brought back to a room, and waited 45 minutes before the doctor even came in...and then the "exam" was only 5 minutes long. They charge you if you are late to an appointment because you are wasting their time and appointments....but they have NO problem wasting YOUR time.

Dr. Meyer…read moreused to be part of a larger medical group located on Linebaugh Avenue in the Carrollwood area, but he moved his practice up north last year to support a base of patients on the north side of Tampa, and I elected to drive the extra 15-20 minutes to stay as his patient. Sun Lake is a part of the same medical family as the former Northwest Family Medical Center on Linebaugh, and so it was quite easy transferring my chart up to the new office. Dr. Meyer is now located in the Sun Lake Professional Center which is north on Dale Mabry, past the northern end of the Veterans, past Calusa Trace, past Cheval......start watching for the cows on both sides of the road.....and there he is on the left in a small professional office complex. Dr. Meyer has been a family practitioner since 1989, and was an Army General Medical Officer in Desert Shield and Desert Storm before that. He is extremely knowledgeable, very personable, and really takes the time to get to know his patients. It's not uncommon to spend an extra few minutes talking about a new exercise program that I can use while traveling, or discussing the medicinal benefits of various types of hot tea, or even the details on that really good restaurant that I discovered last weekend. The mission statement in the examination rooms really says it all, "To provide the most compassionate and best quality care possible for each individual in order to enhance his or her quality of life. This includes not only physical care but also spiritual, mental, and educational support." That really says it all for me, and it explains why I will continue to go out of my way to see Dr. Meyer.

He just didn't write scripts for unnecessary prescriptions or tests. He took time with each patient and you could truly see his care. Now it's been a little while since I've been as I typically only go for my routine exams for prescription renewals. Keep in mind I've been coming here for years and I've also been on the same meds for longer than I've been coming here. I called a few weeks ago to schedule my routine exam and was told at that time that they'd send a note to the nurse practitioner for my script refills since I booked my appointment. They'd also get my blood work script out to my home address as I'd need to get that done about a week or two before my visit. Today I called because no script received to date and I was notified by my pharmacy that my script refill was denied. Spoke to the receptionist who informed me that the nurse denied my refills because she wanted to see me first. Also informed that she didn't approve my blood work because she needs to meet with me to determine what I actually need. Keep in mind I only have 10 days worth of meds left so irritated I explained that this was absurd. I cannot just simply stop taking my meds for weeks while the nurse determines next steps. I've been on these for years and there's been no change to my health to indicate it's ok to stop taking and even the warning on the meds state to not stop taking unless consultation with a doctor which I've had no consultation or tests to confirm it is ok to stop taking. In looking through my file she noticed that I was coded as a new patient so she explained since that wasn't correct she'd send my file back through to see if she'd approve. Today I just couldn't take it anymore and changed due to my experience. I just had enough and switched to another practitioner. I should not have to deal with the mere stress of this. I mean come on!
