Equity Trust's customer service is the worst! I requested an…read moreRMD disbursement to be mailed to me and it never arrived. I called their customer service and was on hold for about 30 minutes. When someone finally came online (Pretty sure they were offshore) I asked a question and she immediately put me back on hold for another 10 minutes without saying anything! When she finally came back online and i explained that I never received the check she said "Well we mailed it". Then she said I should contact the USPS! I asked if it was sent certified mail so I could track it. She said it wasn't. I said then how can it be tracked?! She said I could give them the check # to track it!! I asked to speak to a supervisor but was not allowed to. Finally I hung up and explained the situation online. The check was voided, I was charged $60 for canceling the check, and was told another check would be mailed. I never received that check either! This whole situation has been going on for almost a month! To say I'm upset is an understatement. A company like this who handles self directed IRA's should have a competent and timely customer service
