Unless you can be first in line in the morning, this is a place we use for: 1. Annual exams 2. Vaccines 3. Dentistry 4. Chips/neutering/spaying 5. Non-emergency issues (ie/ scratching a lot, hot spots, etc) 6. Nail trims/anal glands Every time I'm there I see someone come in and freak out about the wait. If it's an emergency GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. I say that with the most loving kindness because your animal needs to be seen asap and this is not the facility for that kind of situation. Otherwise, this place has great prices and their vets are very knowledgeable. My advice, go on a day where they have their sales (ie/ I think Thursday has discounted vaccines) and get there at least 30 mins before they open. Mondays and Fridays are always the worst wait wise. Tues, weds and thurs are usually better. They're fairly good about email. So instead of calling, email them to ask questions. I'm giving 4 stars because I wish they had a hybrid situation for animals that need to be seen sooner.

The staff is so friendly, and the doctors are so personable and caring. Dr Duvolt (I'm so sorry for spelling your name wrong) spent so long with my cat and I making sure I understood everything that was wrong, all of the possible avenues of care, and not only making sure he was OK but that I was OK. It is a walk-in clinic, I got here at 7:40 AM to make sure I was first in line and by 7:50 AM There was about four people behind me waiting for the 8 AM open. On Wednesdays they have discounts for lab and x-ray work. I was so surprised by how much they offer people, above and beyond!

If you're not the only patient of course most critical goes 1st as it should be & there has never been a long wait time. Even at end-of-life for our beloved Maximus. The Dr spent quite a while with us, gave us Al the time we needed & THEY were GREAT & did a WONDERFUL presentation of HIS ashes in a most BEAUTIFUL wooden box & footprint afterwards. Something I didn't realize was they let our primary vet know that Maximus had passed. We hadn't even thought of it yet being he hadn't been there in a bit because of complications & it was exceptionally nice to receive a condolences card from his vet in the mail. Just another really good thing EVCOT does for their patients. THANK YOU for all the things you guys did to help get Maximus almost to his 12th birthday

We searched online and found that Emergency Vet of Tualatin was open 24 hours. We took her there and all the staff were warm and welcoming during this stressful time. They were able to get her in to see a vet right away. We appreciate the speediness of their efforts. Unfortunately it was determined the our dog had a stroke and lost almost all mobility in her hind legs. This was a very difficult decision to make and the vet was patient and kind during the whole interaction. We chose a private cremation and paw print. When we saw the beautiful wooden box her ashes were put in it made a somber moment a little easier. I called to mention that we wanted her collar with her name tag to keep. They were able to track it down and made sure we got it. The paw print was done well and the quality was great. It was thoughtful of the clinic to send us a card as well about their condolences.

I called halfway through my trip and they provided an update, which I really appreciated. When I picked her up she was happy, smelled amazing, and her fur was so soft. Not sure if they bathed her or brushed her or what, but I appreciated it. The staff is super friendly, and I would happily leave my old girl with them again (she's 16). For reference, she stayed in a kitty condo and I could easily fit her bed plus one of the long/narrow scratchers from petsmart. My kitty also requires a decent amount of medication, and that was no issue, just a small fee per med.

I can understand needing precautions, but they denied a prescription cat food through Chewy and won't even do a blood glucose curve and let me send it via email as we have done three times previously in the past 3 months. They saw her in clinic about 6 months ago and missed that she didn't have the vaccine. Once they found that, they cut all care. Oregon Secretary of State registration shows the Authorized Representative for Cat Care Professionals as Peter Jacobson. Per his LinkedIn page, Peter Jacobson is the CFO of Western Veterinary Partners (also noted in the Oregon Secretary of State registration) which, "is a private equity backed company that acquires and manages veterinary clinics throughout the U.S." The care shows it. I'm sure the staff cares, but they were happy to take my money and drop my cat who needs care. I would give a zero if I could. (They were a 5/5 about 10 years ago.)
