Exam room with catification shelves
Ana R.

Another successful Cat Care Professionals visit that my cat loved. While the trip to the vet was a bit stressful for the humans, Potato had a good time at his kitty annual. We needed a general checkup and a vaccine, and Dr. Sanders and team were amazing. My little guy purred throughout his exam (in all my life having cats this never happened!), he got a ton of treats and churu as well. You can really tell all the staff loves cats.

Physical exam

Doctor Cornwell is by far the most kind and thorough vet I have ever worked with. Working in animal care myself, I am very sensitive to the types of professionals I use for my own pets and my experience yesterday was 10/10 phenomenal. I brought my 2.5 year old female cat in for her first annual exam and she was very nervous. Dr Cornwell did the entire physical in a way to allow Rosie to stay hidden and comfortable under a blanket. Her language and movements reflected how well she understood cats of all natures and her deep respect for her clients and their experience. Rosie had the most positive experience she could have. I love this practice!

Thanks for keeping our sweet Lucy healthy!

We love them here. Our sweet little kitty has asthma, and is a patient of theirs. Although she may not always enjoy her vet visits, they help us keep her healthy, and we love them for that!

Clean, friendly, helpful- best cat clinic in all of Oregon

Best cat vet in the state! Always calm, quiet, and careful when in there, the front desk and techs as well as the vet of course, are wonderful at understanding my anxiety fill cat to make her have the best experience as well as my other who wants all the affection and attention:) they really take their time, never rushed, always understanding and knowledgeable- so thankful to have found them!

Do not recommend, they can't even answer the phone. The care of your cats is sub par and they are overpriced.

The vet service is fantastic but the boarding service I will never use again. They are linked but different businesses.

I'm not entirely certain which Yelp is the correct one for the rehab center but here goes…read more I came here and had a consult with Dr Shannon last week. First off, just want to say that I'm pretty much in love with all the staff here (minus one receptionist that I met today who wasn't the friendliest person compared to everyone else). Shawna brought me to the exam room to prep me for Dr Shannon. Back story: My sweet 12 year old dog has gotten more lame in his rear quarters and my husband and I want to prevent it from getting worse. We were told by our Vet in Tualatin park animal clinic to get rehab consult. I'm so so thankful we met who we met here. Shawna was so friendly, kind, gentle with my dog. She patiently listened to everything I had to say, asked follow up questions so I knew she was actually listening. She was just really present. Then moments later walks Dr Shannon. Something about her energy just made me feel like my boy was in such safe hands. The consult was 2 hours long but it didn't even feel that long. Dr Shannon was so so thorough, but so so gentle knowing my pup was in pain. Half way through the appointment he even fell asleep! After the appointment they gave me homework and Shawna thoroughly went over everything. She showed me what to do and all the tricks I needed to know. Fast forward a week. I can't remember the tech that took my pup back for his water therapy but I totally love her energy! She told me I could watch from outside, which I did for a few minutes as they got him set up inside the tank. But both Shawna and the other tech kept petting him and reassuring him. My heart melted knowing they were being so good to him without me being there comforting him myself. When he was done they called. The tech whose name I forgot brought him out and was so super sweet she patient telling me how he was doing and answering all my questions. She mentioned something that made my day about what a good boy he was and how he just knew what to do, and that nothing phased him. These are things pet owners need to hear because I'm honestly thinking he's scared out of his mind being somewhere new. Thank you, all of you for taking such good care of my best friend. Despite only coming here twice I want to come back all the time. I can't praise them enough.

They are very good at taking the time to explain things very well. All employees are friendly and kind. Dr. Tongue treated my dog last time, and my impression is that she is terrific. M concern is that in three years I have never had the same veterinarian twice. No one seems to have much ongoing professional or personal investment in my senior dog's health. Since my dog now has some chronic issues and is 16 + years old, I have asked if I could have the same vet for continuity of care and Dr. T agreed. Also, my dog came for a visit for a chronic cough. He was not given a definitive diagnosis, just a mentioning of 3-4 serious things it could be. I was then given 'the talk' about the 'quality of his life,' etc., indicating euthanizing him may be on his radar soon. Instead my dog's cough got better and that was months ago. Last, it seems to be 'policy' to now charge extra money $ for a 2-3 minute 'vet tech assessment' prior to getting any vaccination. My dog had three expensive. Appointments three months in a row. However I was still charged an extra $30 while some tech looked at my dog's eyes, ears, teeth and felt his fur 'to make sure he was healthy enough for his vaccine,' which seems utter nonsense and just a way for extra revenue. My dog is severely anxious at the vet's, and this unnecessary assessment' made him terrified as time went on, making the the final vaccination very difficult to perform and requiring an additional employee to help strongly hold him in place.

If you're not the only patient of course most critical goes 1st as it should be & there has never been a long wait time. Even at end-of-life for our beloved Maximus. The Dr spent quite a while with us, gave us Al the time we needed & THEY were GREAT & did a WONDERFUL presentation of HIS ashes in a most BEAUTIFUL wooden box & footprint afterwards. Something I didn't realize was they let our primary vet know that Maximus had passed. We hadn't even thought of it yet being he hadn't been there in a bit because of complications & it was exceptionally nice to receive a condolences card from his vet in the mail. Just another really good thing EVCOT does for their patients. THANK YOU for all the things you guys did to help get Maximus almost to his 12th birthday

We searched online and found that Emergency Vet of Tualatin was open 24 hours. We took her there and all the staff were warm and welcoming during this stressful time. They were able to get her in to see a vet right away. We appreciate the speediness of their efforts. Unfortunately it was determined the our dog had a stroke and lost almost all mobility in her hind legs. This was a very difficult decision to make and the vet was patient and kind during the whole interaction. We chose a private cremation and paw print. When we saw the beautiful wooden box her ashes were put in it made a somber moment a little easier. I called to mention that we wanted her collar with her name tag to keep. They were able to track it down and made sure we got it. The paw print was done well and the quality was great. It was thoughtful of the clinic to send us a card as well about their condolences.

I realize my experience doesn't have anything to do with acute problems in younger animals that may need surgery, etc., but I was impressed with the compassion and with the speed in which they took care of both of my cats when we were experiencing end of life choices.

I say that with the most loving kindness because your animal needs to be seen asap and this is not the facility for that kind of situation. Otherwise, this place has great prices and their vets are very knowledgeable. My advice, go on a day where they have their sales (ie/ I think Thursday has discounted vaccines) and get there at least 30 mins before they open. Mondays and Fridays are always the worst wait wise. Tues, weds and thurs are usually better. They're fairly good about email. So instead of calling, email them to ask questions.
