I really wanted to give these guys a try for my SSDI claim. I am a 100% disabled veteran. I…read morecontacted them to see if I could get help for my SSDI appeal as I was recently declined. I submitted a message to them from their website. My response from Craig A. Fahey was that he will not take my case. I mentioned that the main impairment that is preventing me from working is my PTSD, depression, and panic attacks, among many other physical impairments. The fact that I stated that I have had nearly half a dozen ER visits in a couple of months due to these impairments meant nothing. I contacted Craig to get a better understanding of why my case is not worth their time. He responded with "the fact that mental impairments are not found disabling unless there are multiple ER visits or psychiatric hospital admissions. Also, SSA gives very little weight to VA disabilit findings." Exact quote with the misspelling. This is after the fact that I specifically stated that I have had so many ER visits due to mental health in their contact form. So if you are a veteran do not use these guys. I wouldn't have been upset if they declined my case after speaking to me about it. Just give me the time for a phone call to at least hear my case, but I wasn't even worth the time to them. I had multiple emails back and forth with Craig A. Fahey about the matter instead. It just seems to me that they will not take a case unless they have a high probability of winning. A veteran that is disabled and seen by the VA hospital is not worth the time to even have a phone call due to "SSA gives very little weight to VA disability findings". That is not a good reason to deny your services and to not even give me some of your time to speak to. I, like many other disabled veterans, am trying to make it work after coming from terrible places in the world.. For you!! I know a lot of us feel abandoned when we get back and it is because of people like this. Speaking as someone who has had very close friends commit suicide because of their disabilities after war and feeling abandoned when they return home, Craig A. Fahey is the worse type of person. He probably has a good track record of success with the people he accepts as clients but think about all of the impaired people he turns down in order to not tarnish his record. Despicable!! It's already hard for us veterans to even apply for disability after what we go through. But we realize we need to support our family and bury our pride in order to provide for them. I have a wife and two girls at home I need to care for. I am not trying to steal from the government. It's embarrassing that I am not able to work, but I swallow my pride and try to provide for them how I can. I hope you can go home at night thinking you did some good in your life. Sorry I was not a "slam dunk" case for you. As I stated in my email to you, I would appreciate it if you do not try to get my review removed like I have seen you do on other reviews. This is nothing but the truth and I have your emails to back them up.
