In my case after having an MRI my Knee and Hip Orthopedic Doctor referred me to Baptist Pain Management. After a review of those results PA Shauna Wright recommended back relief with a spinal injection. Since I have upper back problems and lower back problems I got to choose which area was my first choice to relieve. I opted for the lower back relief since it remains at a major disabling level. Almost a year ago I was scheduled for an SI Injection by Dr Bauer at the Baptist Eastpoint Surgical Center. Prior to the initial procedure I had a variety of questions come up between my office visit and the surgical procedure. I was able to message Dr Bauer and she immediately answered ALL my questions and put me at ease. On the day of the procedure I got to meet this doctot who is extremely knowledgeable about her area of expertise, caring, competent and has a CALMING bedside manner. I got the two SI injections by Dr Bauer and since I opted to have the procedure with no premedication or sedation I was released to go home about fifteen minutes after getting to recovery. This procedure was a true relief to what had become continual outrageous pain. The relief lasted six months which was longer than relief was predicted. So before we were to travel for the winter holidays I scheduled another appointment with my Pain Management PA. While at that appointment the PA contacted Dr Bauer on my behalf. Dr Bauer was due to start maternity leave shortly. As the caring doctor that she is she agreed to fit my SI injection in as an office visit since I require no premeds or sedation. Once again I experienced wonderful results. Today , five months later I received my pair of SI injections. Dr Bauer and assistants can't be thanked enough for their caring, and professional treatment. I wish I could give you ten stars because five is certainly not enough.

Mom needed help and got nothing but put off and put off. She had an appointment for late January which is absolutely unacceptable it's pain management. She was forced to go to the emergency room today and 2 pelvic features where found. NOT SCIATICA. Not only did she not do x-rays or ctscan she delayed pain management, she has 2 broken hips. Bauer is a horrible excuse for a doctor CRUEL!

I was referred by a spine surgeon that knew surgery was not an option for me. The doctor that had ordered an MRI of my back said I should NEVER consider spine surgery. When I first arrived at this practice over a year ago the PA Shaun Nicole Wright had reviewed my MRI. After an exam she determined I was definitely a candidate for a spinal injection. Since I have numerous issues with my back she let me choose which area was of highest priority to me for treatment. She warned me that whatever I chose would be the only injection for at least three months. When I indicated lower spine she was a little surprised but then on manual pressure examination she agreed. At the end of the first visit I stopped at the office for surgical scheduling for an SI Injection. After the 1st injection I am sold and have recommended to others to skip major surgery and consider cortisone injections. In the past year I have remained in the kind care of PA Shaun Wright. She herself is fabulous, thorough, and well informed. Last November when I needed a repeat of the SI injection she knew the surgeon was going on maternity leave. While I sat in the exam room she reached out first hand to the surgeon to see if I could be squeaked in. The surgeon, Dr Bauer agreed to do my injection in the office the following week since space in the Surgical Center was not available. Not many doctors would be thar accommodating. I have remained a loyal patient since the beginning and go every three months for reevaluation. The injections are so successful that I can go much longer than the three month required interval. Thanks for a true FIVE STAR EXPERIENCE !

Today was the last straw. We arrived for our appointment early. We were meeting with a new doctor, reportedly one of the owners (what we were told when we scheduled the appointment). The appointment started off fine, but within a couple minutes it devolved into a yelling match between me and the doctor. Our insurance denied her medication because it requires a prior authorization (PA). We have been told, repeatedly, and directly from the insurance company, that the PA's HAVE to have how long she's been receiving care to get the prescription approved. I brought the denial letter in, and told the doctor the PA was not filled out properly because they have that she is an "initial user". She is not. The doctor insisted I show him where they said she is a "new patient" - I tried to show him the letter we received. He took it, gave it a cursory glance at best, asked what it was and was told it was from the insurance. I tried again to tell him this is the denial letter and it specifically lists why they denied her (none of which actually apply to her). He got even more angry and started yelling back that his people have been doing this for years they know what they're doing. IF THEY KNEW I WOULDN'T BE LEAVING THIS! Don't waste your time. The new owners are insensitive, arrogant, egotistical jokers that believe they know better. Fine - maybe you have a degree - but you need to go back to school, because "initial" does, in fact, mean "new" and/or "starting". Quit treating your patients like they don't have a clue what's going on - I've been playing these games with the insurance company for over 20 years. I know what we need to do to get my daughter taken care of - and it has nothing to do with them. We transferred her file out before leaving and will not be returning. I only hope we can find another doctor soon because she can't make it much longer without pain management care. IF you are considering this agency - RUN. Do NOT use them.

I did multiple tours overseas for the United States military which I have had so many reconstructive surgeries and also a work related incident that I fell over 30 feet and had to have yet another surgery I received a dismissal letter when I returned from out of state for work stating he's not going to help me and I am not a patient anymore I did not receive a phone call. I did not receive any type of text no email no verbal warning no written warning no counseling nothing I notified his office of my absence for work due to the severe weather like tornadoes, flooding that we had in the months of march and April I even spoke with him in person when I saw him at my last appointment passing in the hallway and lamborn replied, just notify the office and you will be fine I have spoke with other patients in the waiting room and they have missed upwards of 5 to 6 random drug appointments and still are patience I have talked to people that have failed multiple drug tests and still are patient He is still treating. I have not failed a drug test or had any illegal substance in my system. He also falsely accuse me of running out of medicine early on the notice I received when I had to have oral surgery and he increased my dosage which In turn makes you run out sooner He clearly does not care about his patience. He clearly has no empathy no respect and breaks his own policy whenever it suits him I received a phone call from Nathan manager Ashley stating that they did reach out to me Via text and left me a voicemail which I never received due to the area I was in a tornado went through powerlines were down and cell towers were down For some reason, they cannot fathom this I always thought that doctors And nurses were patient advocates and actually had an understanding when their patient was helping the community Recover from such a tragic event Also speaking with Ashley the manager, she stated verbally that I was dismissed for failing a urine screen test Which I received a dismissal letter stating otherwise. So, it appears that she lied in order to cover their mistake. It sounds like to me The Office is Playing favorites and picking and choosing Who stays and who goes I have never been so disrespected in my life and treated like trash These are supposed to be the People that are helping me. I've dedicated 10+ years Keeping this country safe sacrificing my freedom and my body and also 5+ years keeping our community safe. After I posted my review A courtesy refill of a similar medication was sent to my pharmacy and that's when Ashley contacted me These medical professionals have left a horrible taste in my mouth from the lying, the deceptive behavior the manipulation of words and Not taking any ownership for their mistake The difference is if I did receive those messages that they supposedly sent, I wouldn't be writing my review for being wrongfully dismissed and terminated from this practice In closing the people that he is dismissed, negligently read the reviews and the bad reviews. A lot of them stated there has been so much communication problems, wrongful discharges, people older than me and younger than me there seems to be a common denominator in all of these reviews 5/13/25 Furthermore, I received a very threatening Angry text message from ASHLEY AlEXANDER the manager stating that I was Harassing when all I did was ask for my records and pointed out that I was right from a review that was left I will be reporting Nathan Lamborne, as well as Ashley Alexander to the BBB as well as writing a formal complaint grievance to the Kentucky medical board composed the lies the accusations and the wrongful dismissal of myself self and many others suffered from their malpractice and the lack of patient care they made a mistake and now I'm paying for it

Dr. Gudibanda does a great job with the procedures, such as epidurals. Pain management is where you get "sent" when no other doctors can help you...so it is somewhat sad and depressing in the waiting room, as you can imagine. The office does it's best to weed out pill addicts and undesirables. Office visits tend to take several hours, plan to take a book or something. They will drug test you if you are on the opiates program. They do this to ensure you are on the meds properly and not selling or abusing them. It is also a big money maker for the office to charge patients for these urine tests. I have noticed that there is a high volume of patients, they are super busy so bedside manner is short and sweet. Its not warm and fuzzy, but effective. Dr G. is a bit dry on personality overall, I am not sure he really even likes me but I remain a loyal patient nonetheless. I'm not there for a good time, since needles are always involved, LOL,...but I respect his skills and highly recommend. Regarding physical therapy, they have a very nice facility at Audobon as well. I have found it way way way better to go there than KORT or places at strip malls. The clinic is larger, they have more availability...a quality, large staff with lots of new and advanced equipment. I'm told you can also go in and use the facility for free after your therapy is done, but I have not tried that yet. But it's a very nice option. The staff is amazing. I really like the staff also at the Pain Management office, the "Sherri's"( three girls named Sherri work there,LOL ) are funny and sweet. They always look after me, I am so appreciative of the care they and Dr. G have given me. It can be hard and scary to find good pain management care, but this is the place to go. They will get a great program going for you so you feel better as soon as possible.

My recent visit to NPMA involved a referral from Leatherman to Nurse Practitioner Donna Robinson. I have never experienced an appointment that offered so little help with so much attitude. I felt chided for not having my records, though two weeks earlier I had brought all hard copies to them and was told I needed to go to Leatherman before Pain Management. Leatherman was great and loaded all records and referred me, only to be told I should have requested them to be sent. I hate long diatribes so bottom line, I felt like every interaction with Robinson came with an air of suspicion or simply disinterest with no attempts to go out of her way to help. Surely there are better options.
