Messages went unanswered, court dates were missed, and basic details on my paperwork were still wrong after multiple attempts to correct them. The lack of care and accountability was extremely disappointing. For a firm that promises professionalism and efficiency, they delivered neither. I first want to say that Haleigh, is absolutely amazing and was always there to answer my questions. She was always very professional. I found myself in need of a divorce/custody attorney. I consulted and hired Tracy. She informed me of what the retainer fee would cost and of course I paid. She then charged me an obscene amount unnecessary fees on top of the initial cost. Do not expect to be in direct contact with Tracy. I had two meetings with Tracy prior to a very important court date. The first meeting she was almost 45 minutes late for. Once she arrive to the office for the meeting, she never provided me with her undivided attention. She walked around the office the entire time letting her dogs in and out the door. She even took the time to clean dog pee up off the floor during our meeting. She never opened my file to document anything I was explaining. That should have been a RED flag at that moment however I was hopeful I would get something more during court. The second meeting took place over the phone. While discussing the case via phone, she informed me that she didn't know certain details about the case because she hadn't spoken to Haleigh. She showed up to court unprepared. Her notes consisted of the timeline that I prepared and sent over to her and nothing more. She even informed me that she would like to settle because she had another court appearance the same day in another county. She allowed his attorney to belittle me without ever objecting even though she had the facts right in front of her. I never felt like I was the priority. This world needs more attorneys with better morals and empathy for their clients. I would have had more respect for her if she would have just declined to take my case if she knew she would represent me like this. She showed up to every appointment/court date late and unprepared. I was completely hands on in preparing my own case and she never took the opportunity to review the data prior to entering court. I have since had to hire other legal to represent me and play catch up. If I could give her ZERO STARS I WOULD!!!!

Hired Alex King to represent me in family court, and he was unprepared to fight for a father's…read morerights. I was completely embarrassed to have him representing me by the end of it. He talked with the defendant's attorney via email with a tone that he was just so annoyed by my needs in a custody agreement conflict. The defendant showed my family these emails in screenshots from her attorney. I thought it was very unprofessional of Mr. King to share this opinion of (me) his client with the defendants attorney. After a couple months of stress and failed "strategic" moves by Mr.King to FORCE negotiations like he would say.... The conflict was being offered only 53 or 56 overnights with my daughter. OUT OF AN ENTIRE YEAR! I absolutely refused. Mr. King urged me to accept this agreement. He said it was the best offer I could get. After two days of standing firm that I would go in front of a judge if I did not get more overnights, I was finally offered what I wanted from the defendant, over double the original offer of overnights. I would have lost so much time with my daughter if I had listened to Mr. King. He was a complete amateur in handling my case, & to me Mr. King seemed to be out for only his own personal interest. He did not want to fight for me when he was up against a challenge, a seasoned attorney representing the defendant, he even stated to me that he did not like the defendant's attorney. There is so much more information I have on Mr. King being a complete amateur, unprofessional, incompetent, and lack of empathy for a Man fighting for his rights as a father. If you would like to know more about why you should not hire this man to represent you in family court please reach out to me, so you can save your money. His partner Rowe handled some criminal issues in court for me, and in my opinion was very decent although I didn't spend much time with him. I could say something about the secretary in their office in Newton, but I won't. She knows how nasty she was to me on the phone.
