After leaving first review I called them again and they were not happy with my review because it told this whole story from 6/19 onwards which included Lazy boy of Myrtle Beach and their part of this story. And while she tried to commend the first techs good sense not to make a repair he was not knowledgeable about, the issue was lost on her that as a company you should know what your employees can do before you send them to a customers home to make a repair in the first place. Concidering you know what you're coming to repair, you know what part it is, and photos were sent of damage. As a company that's when apologizes need to be made not justifications for bad actions. After calling numerous shops in the area, only Ed immediately knew the type of wood (Koa) and was confident that he could completely disassemble and repair them, entirely without nails or screws, as built 80 years ago. He repaired their structure, re-laminated the chipped chair backs immaculately, and reupholstered the seats. Without instruction to, he noticed the details in the fabric and covered each chair in an aesthetic and symmetrical way. Amazing!
