They get 1 star for taking me with only 50 minutes left til closed. I gave them 3 tries. The first time, they were newly opened, and when done, my nails looked like they needed a fill in already. I told her, and she tried to fast talk me and make excuses. I chopped it up to her being inexperienced. The second time, the nails were better but not that good. This last time was horrible. They were not speaking English talking about me I'm sure. Very rude. I was preoccupied with a lot on my mind and didn't realize til I got home that the pedicure is awful. She clipped my nails but did not file them, and she polished off to the side of my toe with the gel polish. Which means I can literally peel the polish off because of that. So I have to be careful until my appointment next week with a real professional to get them done correctly. The French tip job is terrible too. They have no pride in their work. I gave them 3 chances because I was rooting for them to live up to their name and the nice set up, but I will not be going back. 3 STRIKES!! read more

Worst place ever, had my own nails done french dip powder with designs, after 1 week all coming off, Ive had my nails done every 3 weeks for 20 years, I was out of town so went back today in person to show them, 1st the guy said your acrylics are lifting off, sorry I dont have acrylics my own nails, I paid 75.00 for crappy work, Manager said to bad not helping you. HELL NO!!!!!!!! I wish I would of read the reviews first. I NEVER leave reviews, good or bad, but I am so upset with how bad this place not only treated me, but how bad they tried ripping me off!!!! Me and my daughter came in the day before Mother's Day, I usually go somewhere else but they were too busy so I came here. My daughters were $67 since she had little flowers on them so I asked how much mine would be, for ombré, coffin shape, and he said $87!! I just about sh*t myself since I was used to paying $55 for the same at the other place. I asked him how much for no ombre, no shape, and just gel color, so basically just a regular full set, and he got so mad! He wld not give me a price and said he wld just take the tips off and I could leave. This was also infront of my daughter whom was sitting next to me. Now if I was by myself that's exactly what I would have done, but since I wasn't, we agreed on $67 for just a regular full set with gel polish. Look, I've been getting my nails done for over 30 years now and not once have I ever complained, this by far has been the worst place I have ever been too, customer service and finished result! I understand you probably have to experience it for yourself to see why I'm so upset, I even waited til later on before writing this, so it wasn't done in the spur of the moment. As a woman, I felt like I should let all you other hard working women know what you will be dealing with if you decide to go there. I came 2 weeks ago and was rushed through a gel pish change. My nails were terrible looking after 2 days. The man stayed staring at his phone the whole time doing my nails. Oi chopped it up to he was having a bad day. The place is very pretty and clean so I wanted to go back and try again. Clearly that was a mistake, the people here did not want to work today either. I brought my 2 daughters in for mommy&me spa day. They rushed through everything so quick. I should have left the minute I walked in and they rolled their eyes when I said 3 pedicures. Would not allow my daughters to get a different color on their hands than their feet, the woman who did my nails rushed and was SO ROUGH I'm not sure I have finger tips left. She used her drill tool and completely took off my real nail then just put glue over the bleeding spot and shrugged her shoulders. None of my nails are the same length and they look like a 3 ye old painted them. She refused to put a 3rd coat on the clear sparkle polish I got so that lookshorrible, and she refused to clean under my nails so all the dust is still there.. how uncomfortable. I was so frustrated by the time I was done, I just wanted to leave. I'll go elsewhere and spend another $100 to get them fixed. What a horrible experience read more

Well finally this business put themselves out there on yelp so I can properly introduce them to the world . I have done my nails a couple of Times here and it was done pretty good. The decor is very sheek and girly which I like with a big chandelier in the middle making it look like The Taj Mahal lol. Now let's get into personalities, there is one gentleman that is part owner and he is mean as heck. He works good but his attitude sucks, I did not get his name but trust me you will know when you see him on the other hand there is a guy name Brandon that I swore was Hispanic (he is vietnemse) he is sweet as pie and he is always busy!! Great attitude I like him so he is the one I am recommending. The prices are pretty much standard with all the other nail shops. All in all you get good service and decent price. read more

This salon is gross. Super dirty! I can't believe how many women were there getting mani/pedi's. After being seated for a pedicure, I noticed all the dead skin, dust and dirt that was all over the floor, in the foot soakers, and on the work stations. I ended up walking out after the nail tech tried to use the same tools, that he just used on the customer next to me, on my feet as well. No thanks!!! This place is far from luxury! And to think I almost spent $45 on a pedicure. I forgot to mention- the nail polish selection is very limited (sucks), and all the polishes are old, crusty, and separated inside the bottles. It's so hard to find a great nail salon especially in Lake city. I'm from Miami and I came to visit my family up here. Honestly luxury nails did not disappoint. Very clean and friendly environment. Brandon did my nails. I made an appointment at 11, arrived at 11 and he was ready for me. He was so sweet and attentive. Did my nails and pedicure. Took his time and a great massage. They look great! This has become my go-to nail salon. My first visit was on a Sunday, pretty late in the afternoon. The shop was packed but my wait was worth the pleasant experience. I've been to this salon a few times on separate occasions so I could really get a feel for the place. I feel that when you come here, it's hit and miss on how friendly the staff will be towards you. I've gone in and have been greeted by super friendly staff but for the most part, I just get asked what I want and then I either get directed to a spa chair or I'm told how long the wait will be. I don't take this personally. I think most of it is just difference in culture. But at the same time, the attitude doesn't make you feel welcome. I always get a manicure and pedicure (I'm just too picky for anything else) and I've noticed a discrepancy in the services that come with my manicures and the price I'm charged. My very FIRST visit, when I was getting my manicure, the nail tech removed my old gel polish, trimmed my nails, and applied new gel polish. All that and I was charged for a manicure. Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong, but that sounds like a polish change to me. My SECOND visit, during my manicure, I had old polish removed, my hands soaked in warm water, my cuticles were cut, my nails trimmed and shaped, scented lotion was put on my hands, my hands were massaged, my hands were given The Glorious Hot Towel and new polish was applied. I was charged for a manicure and I left feeling both happy and pampered. My THRID visit, during my manicure, I had old polish removed, my hands were soaked in warm water, my cuticles were cut, my nails trimmed and shaped, and new polish was applied Every time has been different. When you sit down for your pedicure, you're shown a menu and asked what package you would like. If there's a menu for manicures, I haven't seen it. I just know that I've left this place twice and a few hours later I'm cussing because I realize I wasn't completely given what I paid for. This salon needs to step up and do better. Mind you, I wasn't given bad service, my pedicure turned out nice and so did my manicure. But it was incomplete service. It's like, you're not getting an assured quality of service because the service is all over the place. I travel a lot for work but in my down time, I come to this salon because it's clean and it came recommended by most everyone I asked. I was a repeated customer... I was there every week or two for my acrylics. I made an appointment with my usual tech for my sister and I for one afternoon. When we get there, he is no where to be found. The staff said "Oh, he's on vacation. He's not here". I was VERY disappointed. Then, even after becoming aware of the mistake, none of the other techs even tried to help me. They all ignored me and were rude. At one point, I even asked "what are we supposed to do then?" The man shrugged his shoulders and said "wait an hour". I was furious. Wait an hour on an appointment I had made over two weeks ago? Plus, I had gotten fungus under my pinkie nail from their equipment and the tech STILL worked on it. I even pointed it out, and he said "No, no. Not a fungus", but it was IN FACT a fungus. Luxury nails was definitely NOT a luxury. I honestly would leave zero stars as far as satisfaction would go if I could still leave a review that way. I came in with a friend, we were looking for manicures and the S&S dip polish. We sat for about 20mins, they were extremely busy so we understood. We sit down, choose our colors, and made sure we both repeated what exactly we wanted. I made sure I told them to not clip my nails. Nope, he didn't prep them, did not shape my cuticles, did not even push my nail bed back. Instead ths gentleman filed my nails down to a nub, AFTER he had already put the powder on? Okay. I asked him to not file them down so much and his reply was "your nails are already so short." I had long natural nails before this, and my nails are down to the skin of my fingers now. He also left a hefty amount of the product under my nails and so I asked for him to please remove it after he had pondered off for about 10mins. He said it was just my skin. I finally spoke up and said i was not happy, that he had not done anything I asked, nor are my nails shaped properly. There was what seemed to be a manager who spoke up in their native language (I don't know what it was so I'm not going to assume) and so then the guy who did my nails took a smaller drill, grabbed my thumb, and proceded to drill UNDER my nail which of course caused my skin to draw blood because he went too deep. I honestly paid my $35 and sat and waited for my friend who had an even worse experience. She was then charged $40 for an S&S fill in which it clearly states on their board of prices that a fill in is only $25, and then when she was putting in her tip, the guy who worked on her nails said "thats it?" After he clearly screwed up her nails royally, and she was still tipping him $7 on a $40 check that was only supposed to be $25. This was my first and only time at this establishment. They are the best nail techs in town. However, I allowed a younger guy to do my fill in at my last visit & he did not coat the polish well. It began to chip within two days. I went In to get them fixed & they were very unorganized. They started to fix them & other customers came in. They put me to the side & began helping them while I waited. I have been here numerous of times. Both my daughter and I...but after yesterday's service, I WILL NEVER RETURN!!! I came in as usual picked out my color and the older lady's came to get me with such a bad attitude but me giving the benefit of the doubt said maybe it was a mistake. Sat down and she throws her nail kit on the the booth table not once making any conversation. She proceeds to slam nails down and after she glued my nails on she proceeds to use the nail file on the sides of my nails scratching me repeatedly with no apologies. Brandon is sitting next to her the whole time they exchange a few words and she continues to roughly handle my hands. I even said ow and asked her was she ok. She rolled her eyes and said "yes". After I washed my hands she then tells me my color I picked was not enough in the bottle and to find another color because she could find any more...Mind now there were several bottles on the shelf " baby girl pink"....anyways I tell her don't worry about it just paint them clear. She did them after she was done, shoved my hand at Brandon and tell him, "look, I not cut her" and walks off. I was MORTIFIED!!! All I could do is cry in Shane and asked him was I being plunked and the young ladies sitting next me looked on in pity but NO ONE said anything and I walked out crying!!!
