The service went well and the polish had good quality. I like to wait a week or so before reviewing nail salons to see if chipping happens too soon. No chipping on my pedicure and it isn't gel. My daughter, 5 year old granddaughter, and I had appointments for pedicures yesterday. We arrived a few minutes before our scheduled time, and had to wait until 30 minutes past the appointment because they had other patrons in the chairs by the kids chair. I told the guy I just wanted the regular pedi which was $35. He kept putting the list in front of me pointing to the $55 and $65 pedis. I told him I just wanted the regular one and he kept pushing for the more expensive ones, then would say, "...but whatever you want!" So he seemed to finally accept that, but he used gel polish even though the pedi I requested included regular, not gel polish. He charged me $50. Although my toes look nice, I felt the staff was disrespectful as a whole. If I had it to do over again, I would have only paid the amount listed. I wanted to wait a week or so before writing my review, just to be sure I wasn't doing it out of rage in the moment. Unfortunately, it only got worse throughout the week. My family is moving to Lake City, so I wanted to try somewhere new. I called the shop more than an hour before they closed and asked if they had time for a pedicure and dip manicure, and they said come on in. When I walked in, a woman greeted me by saying "you just called?", asked me to sign in, and sit in a pedicure chair. I was under the impression that they knew what I was there for, but unfortunately I was wrong. The woman doing my pedicure got finished and walked towards the counter for me to pay, and I said I also wanted to get a dip manicure. They had me sit down with someone else, and she started soaking and drilling my current dip set. A guy that was working in there, maybe the manager(?), said to me, "Next time say something about dip so it doesn't take so long," insinuating that I should've told them I wanted dip when I walked in so that they could soak my nails during my pedicure. I politely responded that I did tell the woman on the phone that I wanted a dip manicure, and I wrote it on the sign-in sheet. He said again, "Well just say something next time." At that point, I wanted to get up and walk out, but my nails were still soaking. I told the lady that was working on my nails to please just finish up with the dip removal, reshape my nails, and paint a clear coat on my nails so that I could be on way. She proceeded to use gel builder on my nails, which isn't what I asked for, and they charged me $57 for a crooked manicure that I didn't even ask for, which was $12 more than the dip manicure I asked for originally. By the next day, my natural nails were peeling away from the gel builder and breaking. I had been growing my natural nails out using dip for nearly 3 months after doing acrylic nails for years, so I was very upset. Two days later, the gel builder was breaking. They argued with me that a cuticle trim is not part of a manicure. It would cost extra for that. When I told her I want my cuticles done she trimmed one and cut it and it bled. She them said "I charge you for that". Worst place! Not sanitary. They use callus removers that are not clean. Steer clear of this place! I don't know how they're still open. read more

If I could leave 0 I would! My niece and daughter-in-law took my daughter her to get her nails done for her birthday. Through out the process both my niece and DIL continuously requested things be fixed, they requested their nails a certain length, color, etc. They were ignored with sexual comments being made toward my 17-year old niece the whole time even after she told them she was only 17. Even after the constant requests to fix/cleanup the nails they were the terrible. Bleeding all over, polish and glue all over, bubbles in them, butterfly not on properly, wrong shape and not the length my niece asked for as the tech told her 'no I give you sexy nails' when she asked for them to be shorter. While disputing the charge one person grabbed her arm and tried to pull her to the chair so he could fix them even though she had already told them no. They then agreed to a total of $50 dollars and he ran her card and charge her $87 without her permission. Worst customer service I've experienced in a salon. I bought a $50 gift certificate from the nail tech, who sits in the back left corner, for a Christmas 2022 gift (my elderly mother). She never used it so gave it back to me to use, in October 2023. I went to the salon, had a fill, a pedi, a nail and toe polish for a little girl. I presented my gift certificate, and was told I can't use it cause it's only good for 6 months, by the guy who does pedicures. HOWEVER, THERE'S NO EXPIRATION DATE ON IT. He also told me that since he didn't sign it, it wouldn't be honored. I told him who I bought it from, and pointed right at the tech who sold it to me. I told him it had been for my elderly mom, who hadn't been able to use it. At no time was I told it had an expiration date, nor was I told HE had to sign it. He was rude to me and turned around and walked off, so much so that the female who did my pedicure that day apologized to me. I suggested they put an expiration date on the gift certificates, as I paid $145 for a fill, a basic pedi, and a polish for a child. I'll NEVER go back or refer anyone here. read more

I'm not one to complain & I'm pretty easy going, but I've been getting my nails done for 4 years and have never been so unhappy with the service and how my nails turned out. Not only was the acrylic done uneven & sloppy, but the gel over it looks even worse. He never once asked me if I liked how they looked or the length, I had to ask him to fix one of the nails because it was visibly cut down crooked. They honest to god just want your money, they couldn't care less about the customer. Me and my best friend came here to get her fake nails taken off, it's a pretty routine thing. Let me just say, how are you still in business. This place has like two people who actually work and they just run around from person to person without finishing anyone. Like they half do everything here. We have been here for over an hour because no one actually focuses on the clients. One group of girls came in with an appointment and waited for 40 min and only got two nails glued on. Not shaped, not pained, not even trimmed, just stuck on. Honestly we might as well just soaked my best friends nails at home because they didn't do ANYTHING. So basically, my friend went to this nail salon called Lee's Nails. Her birthday party is coming up so we wanted to make sure her nails were decent at least. She showed the man the picture she wanted (inserted below) and it came out horribly. They had super thick layers of nail polish. The color wasn't right. The glitter polish was too thick. The price was going to be $75 but she told the man she didn't like them so she ended up paying $5 less. We don't plan on coming here again. read more

Save your money! My nails look like a drunk student nail tech did them. They are crooked, lumpy, all different sizes and lengths, the gel polish has bubbles and finger prints . He didn't even finish my polish because I told him to stop. The lines on my V were so wavy you would think he was having a stroke! I would not recommend this location to anyone. The other day I went in to have my nails painted with French tips. Even though there was only one other customer in the store and plenty of employees talking together at a station in the corner of the room, I had to ask for assistance at the front desk. The polish that was used looked dry and old, and dried with a ton of bubbles. As I waited for them to dry, the employee pulled out a top coat and put quite a bit of nail polish thinner into the bottle. After seeing this, I was not surprised to find the polish on my nails peeling off in sheets the day after. Hopefully others have had a better experience than me, but I certainly will not be going back. read more
