Crooked shape and dirt underneath since the natural nail was peeling.
    Cary E.

I wanted to wait a week or so before writing my review, just to be sure I wasn't doing it out of rage in the moment. Unfortunately, it only got worse throughout the week. My family is moving to Lake City, so I wanted to try somewhere new. I called the shop more than an hour before they closed and asked if they had time for a pedicure and dip manicure, and they said come on in. When I walked in, a woman greeted me by saying "you just called?", asked me to sign in, and sit in a pedicure chair. I was under the impression that they knew what I was there for, but unfortunately I was wrong. The woman doing my pedicure got finished and walked towards the counter for me to pay, and I said I also wanted to get a dip manicure. They had me sit down with someone else, and she started soaking and drilling my current dip set. A guy that was working in there, maybe the manager(?), said to me, "Next time say something about dip so it doesn't take so long," insinuating that I should've told them I wanted dip when I walked in so that they could soak my nails during my pedicure. I politely responded that I did tell the woman on the phone that I wanted a dip manicure, and I wrote it on the sign-in sheet. He said again, "Well just say something next time." At that point, I wanted to get up and walk out, but my nails were still soaking. I told the lady that was working on my nails to please just finish up with the dip removal, reshape my nails, and paint a clear coat on my nails so that I could be on way. She proceeded to use gel builder on my nails, which isn't what I asked for, and they charged me $57 for a crooked manicure that I didn't even ask for, which was $12 more than the dip manicure I asked for originally. By the next day, my natural nails were peeling away from the gel builder and breaking. I had been growing my natural nails out using dip for nearly 3 months after doing acrylic nails for years, so I was very upset. Two days later, the gel builder was breaking. A week later, I've now had to remove the gel builder and cut my nails down. Needless to say, there won't be a "next time."

I asked her to please make my cuticles look better, she argued with me, trimmed one, cut me, and said she'd have to charge me for that!

They argued with me that a cuticle trim is not part of a manicure. It would cost extra for that. When I told her I want my cuticles done she trimmed one and cut it and it bled. She them said "I charge you for that". Worst place! Not sanitary. They use callus removers that are not clean. Steer clear of this place! I don't know how they're still open.

If I could leave 0 I would! My niece and daughter-in-law took my daughter her to get her nails done for her birthday. Through out the process both my niece and DIL continuously requested things be fixed, they requested their nails a certain length, color, etc. They were ignored with sexual comments being made toward my 17-year old niece the whole time even after she told them she was only 17. Even after the constant requests to fix/cleanup the nails they were the terrible. Bleeding all over, polish and glue all over, bubbles in them, butterfly not on properly, wrong shape and not the length my niece asked for as the tech told her 'no I give you sexy nails' when she asked for them to be shorter. While disputing the charge one person grabbed her arm and tried to pull her to the chair so he could fix them even though she had already told them no. They then agreed to a total of $50 dollars and he ran her card and charge her $87 without her permission. Worst customer service I've experienced in a salon. We will be contacting the bank to dispute charges! 0 stars!!

Pinky Nail looks lumpy and fat. Other two nails are visibly crooked & at the base you can see where the nails didn't get enough polish.

I will literally neverrrrr come back to this place. I'm not one to complain & I'm pretty easy going, but I've been getting my nails done for 4 years and have never been so unhappy with the service and how my nails turned out. Not only was the acrylic done uneven & sloppy, but the gel over it looks even worse. He never once asked me if I liked how they looked or the length, I had to ask him to fix one of the nails because it was visibly cut down crooked. They honest to god just want your money, they couldn't care less about the customer. I went to Gainesville to get my nails done 2 weeks before but didn't want to drive all the way back out to get them filled. Lesson learned. I will make the drive.

So basically, my friend went to this nail salon called Lee's Nails. Her birthday party is coming up so we wanted to make sure her nails were decent at least. She showed the man the picture she wanted (inserted below) and it came out horribly. They had super thick layers of nail polish. The color wasn't right. The glitter polish was too thick. The price was going to be $75 but she told the man she didn't like them so she ended up paying $5 less. We don't plan on coming here again.

Look at how crooked and disgusting these look!

**Review of N & K Nails - 363 SW Baya Dr, Lake City, FL 32025**…read more I recently visited N & K Nails with my two nieces, ages 9 and 10, after being referred by my sister, who goes there regularly. Unfortunately, my experience was far from positive. I felt targeted and unfairly treated, all because I didn't opt for manicures for the girls in addition to their pedicures. I overheard the staff whispering about me, calling me "money lady," and then switching to a different language, which made me extremely uncomfortable. In New York, where I'm from, a kids' mani-pedi typically costs around $18. Here, they charged me $35 for a five-minute kids' pedicure that was subpar at best. My own pedicure was even worse -- they charged me $40 and left my feet in worse condition than when I came in. The polish was sloppily applied, all over my skin, and my nails were cut so unevenly that I had to request the clippers to fix the sides myself. And may I add, none of these were spa pedicures! The business practices at this establishment are terrible. They don't know how to treat customers and were outright rude to me, despite my sister being a loyal customer. I had planned to get more services done but changed my mind after seeing how carelessly they handled our pedicures. I do not recommend this place to anyone and will never be returning. They lack professionalism, skill, and basic respect for their customers. It's hard to believe they're still in business with this level of service. They aren't worthy of any star they only got one star because I had to give it in order to post my review.
