The problem is she's shown herself to be unreliable and at times difficult to get ahold of. If you've had lashes, you know that keeping a somewhat consistent fill schedule is sorta important. Carolyn does lashes in her home, and takes appointments only by phone or text. For my second appointment, it took her almost a week to get back to me, and several messages went unanswered. When she finally responded, she explained there was a family emergency she was dealing with. Ok, one time, no problem. Life happens, I get it. My lashes looked a little sparse by the end of the additional week, and due to the delay I needed to do my third lash appointment about 1 week later because I had a special event plus travel. But whatevs. Here we are now, and I've been trying to set up my fourth appointment. It took 2 days (and a follow up message) to get a response. Then, 24 hours before my appointment, she texts me to let me know she can't do my lashes because she started a second job and hasn't had time to buy supplies. She says she wishes she had an alternate person to refer me to, but she knows there are "a lot of gals" doing lashes in the area now. No offer to reschedule. So is she done lashing all together? Or just dropping me a a client? I can't really tell what she's trying to communicate, but I find it really unprofessional and as a result will be finding someone more reliable to do my lashes.

She begins with a dry cut, so she recommends showing up for your appointment with your hair down and in its natural form (try to have most of the tangles out for her sake and sanity :)). Her DevaCurl expertise was spot on. After the cut, she gives you a no poo rinse and condition and styles the hair with a DevaCurl technique. She explained the techniques she was using, but also informs you of ways to make it work at home for you. Her pointers for how to style your hair based on how much time, resources, etc. you may have are extremely reasonable and helpful. After drying for a short time she comes back and loosens up your curls and plays with them to develop a gorgeous finished product. I've never been happier with a cut! Stop by and see Georgia sometime. The salon itself is a hidden treasure. Friendly staff all around and plenty of refreshments to keep you satisfied while you wait (which is minimal).

She is a lovely person, very informative and helped me with my concerns. (Since moving to Texas my skin went haywire). Before doing any facials or procedures she recommended I meet with Annie for a "good-faith" consultation. When I met with Annie I was pleasantly surprised to find that she had done some research on my current issues and was able to prescribe me a face routine. After following her advice, the rash on my face FINALLY cleared up after WEEKS! I was then able to schedule a hydra facial with Zenyda. It was so relaxing that I feel completely asleep.
