Luxe Photography did our wedding photos in Georgetown, Texas in May of 2015. She also took bridal portraits and engagement photos for us. Something about Luxe's portfolio stood out to me from the beginning and after looking at tons of sites of other Austin photographers, I knew Luxe was the right choice for our wedding. I particularly loved how she does just as good with natural light as she does with flash photography -- capturing pretty portraits AND fun reception shots! Jennifer was responsive, fun to work with, kind and took beautiful photos. Plus, her pricing was extremely fair and she provided a HUGE selection of edited images. My mom has a detailed list of all the photos she wanted taken day-of and Jennifer got them all! She seriously didn't miss a shot. Jennifer did so many sweet "extras" that she totally didn't have to do but did. For instance, mom was having a hard time getting a print shop to print one of my bridal photos in the correct size to have displayed at the venue. Jennifer said "let me handle it" and a few days later mom has a gorgeous print on her front door. Also, she treated me, my mom and our friend to drinks after our bridal shoot. Seriously, she was just above and beyond. I have many friends who don't love their wedding photos, but I absolutely adore ours. Jennifer is great and I happily recommend her to anyone interested! We have a similar aesthetic and I was very happy with my wedding photos. She was willing to work with us on the budget and catered our wedding package to our needs. We were also lucky enough to get a second photographer at no additional charge. We recently got married so we haven't gotten our full photos back yet, but I have loved my experience with Luxe Photography (particularly Jennifer) so much already! My bridal portraits came out great despite the cloudiness and little bit of rain. I'm no model so the fact that she helped me pose naturally and had fun ideas was perfect! Whew--I want to tear up because I just realized that other than getting my pictures delivered from my wedding I'm already done working with Jennifer. I'm the most private, nervous, and shy person on this planet, but Jennifer has been able to pull me out of my shell from day one. I was recommended from a good friend. Jennifer was booked,but her colleague Heather was available. Heather is amazing! And I told her she should go into wedding planning! She helped throughout the getting ready process and was so calm and professional. My fiance and I found Luxe Photography looking online through Google, and we couldn't be happier with the results. We sent a request for info, and within hours had received back information on what would come with an Engagement Photo session, what to expect, and some questions about what we were looking for. After a few emailed and exchanges of ideas, we felt comfortable booking with Jennifer at Luxe. We took our engagement photos on January 19th, at 7:15 in the AM, and had a 2 hour package. Jennifer had great ideas, and listened and focused on my idea to have a traditional shoot on South Congress, and transition into a more casual shoot at the Farmer's Market downtown. All of the photos felt natural, nothing was forced or contrived. She worked hard to get us comfortable and laughing, and by the end of it, my fiance and I felt like we were just taking pictures with one of our friends. When we made suggestions, she used them. That same day, about 5 hours later, Jennifer had posted a "Sneak Preview: of 6 photos to our Facebook, and onto her blog. By Monday evening (1/21) she shared our blog post of about 40 edited images, with us through Facebook as well. We couldn't believe how quickly they had shown up! Well where should I start... we found Jennifer Jones and Luxe Photography on Facebook from one of our friends. I'm so glad we did too :)!!! She was right in our price range and she offered so much with her package that other photographers can't even come close to doing with her prices!!! She was easy to work with and fun!!! She would answer emails fairly quickly and she was ALWAYS ON TIME!! We did an engagement session and she did 7 Hours of wedding day coverage for us and man ooh man what a great job she did! Everyone loved the engagements photos we had around the venue, I had plenty of people come up to me and say wow those pictures are great! She is local too!!! I love local vendors they are the only people that will get my business!! With Luxe Photography having a facebook as well you are always update on what she was doing and where she was headed next! She also would anyways give you like 4 or 5 photos to keep you clam till she got all your photos done which I thought was super nice!! She also did a great job sharing vendor information to brides who were shopping around. One stop shop is always nice now days!! She doesn't give you the run around and with me that was important because if I have to guess at what you're doing that's not good. Jennifer is THE BEST. She shot our engagement photos in March, as well as our wedding photos last weekend. We loved how all of our engagement photos turned out. We have not received our wedding photos yet, but I am confident that we will love them as well. She is very professional, but also does what needs to be done to get a great shot. Jennifer did my bridal portraits and was our wedding photographer. I cannot say enough good things about not only her work but just her as a person. She was always prompt with communication (which is rare these days!) and her online booking/invoicing system was so simple to use. Jennifer has such a calming demeanor that really relaxes you and creates an environment for natural, beautiful pictures! And her work reflects that! She has an eye for the little details no one else would notice and can capture the moment effortlessly. The program she uses to present her pictures is the top notch. I've had numerous family members and friends comment on how easy it was looking through all the photos and downloading them, even though it was impossible to choose favorites. There's even an app for it! She sent my bridal portraits to me early, because she had a family emergency come up. Jennifer Jones with Luxe Photography is unbelievably talented. She really has a great eye. She took our engagement and wedding photos, and we have received nothing but wonderful comments from all our friends and family. Everyone thinks her pictures are amazing. She provided sneak peaks of our engagement and wedding photos within 1-2 of shooting. She was a pleasure to work with.
