The place was not busy with only about 8 of the pedicure stations being used and maybe 3 people getting manicures. That should have been a clue. A nail salon that isn't busy on a Friday? That's a big clue. While the staff offered us the various beverage options, the service my daughter received was markedly better than the service I received. We were literally sitting next to each other and her nail tech did a wonderful job while mine did not. My tech seemed to be in a hurry to do something other than my nails. (Mind you, I keep my feet in pristine condition with regular at home treatments. It's not like she was filing off years of dry skin.) The foot wax was scalding hot, the foot/calf massage was abbreviated with no where near the time under the steamer as my daughter. While both of us had regular polish (easier to manage at home afterwards) my daughter's tech gave her toes time to sit and dry. Mine was no where near dry when she sent me on my way. She didn't even offer a fan to speed up the drying process. I also noticed that another patron received a full bottle of the milk for their pedicure, but my daughter and I only had 1/2 a bottle each. The polish on two toes got messed up the minute I stepped out the door, so I went in to have her fix it. She did, but hurriedly, with no base coat, and again, immediately had me leave. No time to sit and dry. No fan to speed up the drying process. At any nail salon, the person paying for the pedicure should have a good experience. I didn't and we will definitely not be going to this salon again.
