I was gifted a SkinSpirit gift card for my birthday, so I decided to book a consultation--and I'm so glad I did. For context, I've been to countless laser and aesthetic clinics over the years (from Los Angeles to Hawaii), and this was the first time I truly felt welcomed without any pressure. From the moment I walked in, the staff was warm, professional, and incredibly attentive. What stood out most was that I never felt like I was being sold anything. Instead, they took the time to understand my goals, educate me on their services, and made the entire experience feel relaxed and personalized. I've always been hesitant about Botox and fillers, but after seeing their natural, balanced results and having a consultation with Dr. Linder, I actually felt comfortable--excited, even--to finally pop my Botox/filler cherry with SkinSpirit. As someone who is genuinely afraid of needles, Dr. Linder made the experience so easy. She was gentle, reassuring, and used techniques that made the process feel virtually painless. All of my anxiety completely melted away, and I felt truly cared for throughout. Also, shoutout to the front desk--especially the well-dressed gentleman who helped me recover and redeem a lost gift card. That level of customer service did not go unnoticed. Hands down, one of the best birthday gifts I've received. I'm so happy to have found a place that not only delivers amazing results but also makes you feel comfortable, confident, and genuinely taken care of. SkinSpirit has earned a lifelong client.

It was impressive how knowledgeable they both were. Especially Emily ! We tried a few different IV's. The set up is very nice and comfortable, with big cozy chairs, and a ottoman for your feet. The process did take too long. They have pressure IV bags, to help things move along quicker. It really does seem like a great idea to get an immune boost, especially if you are traveling. It is pricey. They might have a discount for your first time. One really cool thing they mentioned to us was regarding iron infusions. Compared to the prices even with insurance, it can be thousands of dollars. Here they are much more reasonable, and you are not paying for everything else they charge you for normally. One other thing to mention. You won't have a needle stuck in your arm for the whole time. They use something that is soft and flexible, so you are free to move your arm around. It was not at all uncomfortable. We will be back.

The place is so clean and well put together, I could have stayed there for 12 hours. I'm traveling and called several other places and none of them would take me in. The beautiful nurse who looked like she can be Julianne Moore's daughter got me in and provided me with all the info I needed. When the catheter was inserted, I didn't even feel it. She kept checking up on me and made sure I was doing well. This was an excellent experience and their prices were perfect. I highly recommend this place and in my opinion they should change their name to Amazing IV. Thank you for a great experience

Two board-certified plastic surgeons I consulted prior had told me I was not a candidate and would not be happy with the results. Dr. Lopez, however, assured me I would achieve the outcome I wanted, showing me pictures and telling me she had done many surgeries like it with great results. I had the surgery, and a year later I was very unhappy. In many ways, my arms looked worse. For the entire year, Dr. Lopez told me there was nothing more she could do--other than pointing out that now, my arms looked "better in clothes". Sadly, that was not what I had been promised, nor what I paid for. She performed a second surgery, an actual brachioplasty, but the results were still poor and fell far below the standard of care. I then sought multiple evaluations from actual board-certified plastic surgeons. All agreed: the results I was left with were not acceptable, not what I paid for, and fell far below the standard of care. Dr. Lopez offered a third surgery--at an additional charge--but by that point I had lost all confidence in her skills. I found another surgeon who quoted me the cost to repair the damage, an actual board-certified plastic surgeon. Rather than asking for a full refund, I only requested reimbursement for the amount I would need to pay for the corrective surgery. Dr. Lopez has continued to refuse. In my experience, most plastic surgeons will work with patients or provide refunds when the results are clearly unacceptable. Dr. Lopez did not. While I have never sued anyone for anything before, I am having to sue her to get her to do the right thing. So, I ask you, is Dr. Lopez the cosmetic surgeon you really want to do business with? Bottom line: Had I known then what I know now, I would never have scheduled surgery with her. Do your homework. In my opinion, Dr. Lopez talks a good game but does not have the skills to deliver. I wish I had the ability to show you, my arms. Dr. Lopez is a cosmetic surgeon, not a board-certified plastic surgeon. Google the difference, then strongly consider another surgeon.

Slowly the practice evolved, prices went up, and that value aspect was gone. I still came as this was my comfort zone, I enjoyed my visits with Robin, communication was great and scheduling was easy. For the past several years I have felt like I was not getting the results I was used to. I had gone back a few times to "add more" filler or Botox, increasing the overall cost of my treatments. I started to think maybe I just metabolized these treatments more quickly or that my body was so used to it, it just wasn't going to work for me the way it used to anymore. The conversations and commentary here had also taken a bit of an unprofessional turn which gave me pause and is what finally pushed me out of that comfort zone to try something new. I'm glad I did. After only a month and a half after my last treatment here I looked like I had not had any Botox at all. With a big event coming up I decided to try a new place that was recommended to me by a few friends. At this consultation I brought in my receipts with the units that had been utilized and the dates they had been placed. I asked if it looked like I had those units placed and this new clinician said "no". Before/after pictures were taken and I was blown away with my results after just two weeks. I'm thrilled I was able to get the results I wanted before my big event but am disappointed that it didn't come from Lake Oswego Aesthetics.

When you combine experience, intelligence, natural talent, resourcefulness, cutting edge research, dedication and true caring--you get a miracle-worker like Marina. Though it pains a vain, beauty-loving girl to publically proclaim it, I've been struggling with breakouts for my entire adult life. I've been dry-iced and dried out with topicals. Stuffed with antibiotics and spironolactone. Blue-lit, poked and prodded. All to no avail. Oh, some months were better than others. But in the end, I had to admit, it was getting worse, not better. Dermatologists told me they were "doing everything they could," and claimed the only remaining option was the infamous, side-effect inducing Acutane. I was at my wit's end. Make-up, my only ally. And even that mask was beginning to crack ... I decided to try an aesthetician. Someone world-class. I needed to pull out "the big guns." Through a series of review searches and pure glorious good fortune, I found Marina Volod & Dermaesthetica. I knew I liked Ms. Volod when the first thing she said to me, after initial introductions, was: "Tell me the story of your skin." She even sat down, ready for a long one. This was extremely touching for someone who had been shuffled through appointments year after year with clinical apathy. Marina has a vast arsenal of magic tricks up her sleeve--a sorceress of skin! I saw improvement instantly. As soon as I began following Marina's new prescribed regimen (which was quite simple, but precise) and using her products, I noticed I wasn't seeing any new breakouts. The redness was fading. Marina performed a moderate chemical peel to start working on the scar damage. The result was spectacular. Not only did my scars diminish noticeably, but my entire complexion has taken on a glowing, healthy vitality I haven't seen in years. Also for the first time in years, I'm leaving the house without make-up. Getting compliments on my skin! I am looking forward to a second peel; the first one was already so successful. We are still in the midst of my "recovery plan" scar-wise, but for the first time in years I have high hopes! Thanks to my new aesthetic ally, my complexion has been clear and healthy-looking for months, which alone is enough to make a girl write a gushing review.

I hate to leave bad reviews, but I don't want someone else to have the experience I have had…read more I had a facial on 10/9. I explained to Houda that I have dry, sensitive skin and am on tretinoin, which further sensitizes skin. Certain ingredients don't mix well with tretinoin and if you're doing a peel, micro needling, etc you have to stop tret use for several days leading up to treatment. During my facial, she applied a salicylic acid mask that immediately burned my skin, to the point that my eyes were watering and it was unbearable to leave on longer than about a minute or two. By the time I got home, my skin was bright red, like a bad sunburn. By 10/11, my skin was peeling off in chunks. I emailed Houda and she replied some dryness and tightness is normal. I am now 4 days out and my entire face is still peeling in large pieces. If I was there for peel, that'd be ok, but I just went for a facial and had no intention of getting a peel and it was never discussed. Houda's response to my concerns has felt a bit dismissive and told me this is a normal reaction. If that's the case, I wish the communication had been better- I had no idea she was going to use a product that'd cause my face to peel intensely for days on end. After looking into the product used, it is not intended to cause peeling. It seems like this product shouldn't have been used on sensitive skin or on a client using tretinoin. The manufacturer of the product advised me to see a doctor regarding this reaction. Based on other reviews I know Houda can do great work, unfortunately I don't think this is a good option for people with sensitive skin looking for a facial.
