Even after the freezer was confirmed to be nonfunctional and replaced, there was no consideration for reimbursement or rent credit. Communication and follow-through were poor, and issues required repeated escalation. I would advise future renters to document everything carefully. They don't want you to have outside rentals insurance while you pay every month is not going to cover you for nothing - i have had multiple water leaking from the restroom, roof leaking , unworking appliance for month, Hurricane damage my computer. all of these were not covered by their policy. The location is great because I can easily get to restaurants, grocery stores, downtown, uptown, and even the burbs easily by road - or beginning next month the new Dart station opens and that is going to be great so that I can get to West Village, Mockingbird Station and other areas via train. The staff of Gibson Company has been great all these years and it's because of them and the community that they have created that keeps me here. I highly recommend both them and their properties.

She didn't even wait for us to catch up, went through a door and turned a corner. When we caught up she was in the closing room. She came out and said "in there" and pointed to the room. The closing agent who came in was super nice. She greeted us and made conversation. She was very professional and was wonderful to deal with. It was so unfortunate that the receptionist was so rude because we will never use their services again because of her. Either the company doesn't understand the first person you see represents their company or they just don't realize what's going on at the front desk.

A man named Gary forwarded me to Catherine Cardneaux, and we set up a time to meet to tour the property. She advised me that I had to sign a contract, basically stating that she was going to be the listing agent for this property and if I were to move forward, she would be the one to facilitate the transaction. Upon signing this contract, I notice that she had put that I (tenant) would be paying 55% of her brokers fee and the landlord would be paying 45% of her brokers fee. I did not hire her for this property, nor did she help me find this property. I found this rental all on my own searching on Zillow. And she thought I was going to be a bird brain and sign this contract without reading it. She was trying to facilitate a GREAT DEAL for the landlord by making me pay MORE THAN HALF of her brokers fee! Very unprofessional, and I advise anyone searching for a rental to use someone else!
