That's probably mostly because it's a pain in the ass to find a new family physician though... As a teenager, I had frequent bouts of strep throat, but never the kind that was detected by the rapid swab tests. Even though this became apparent rather quickly, I can't tell you the number of times I had to make numerous trips to Dr. Farber's office when my rapid tests would come back negative and he would tell me it wasn't strep, yet a few days later, the symptoms persisted. I will give their office props for one thing, though: Shortly after I graduated college and was unemployed with no health insurance, I broke my foot. Since I was an established patient at the office, they worked with me to charge me a minimal amount for my visit and they also worked out a deal with the imaging center where I had my x-ray. I was so grateful not to have to worry about being able to afford getting care for my foot and they took excellent care of me. So, while he might not be the sharpest crayon in the medical box, Dr. Farber is a great guy, and he does look out for his patients.

I was sent here by my primary care physician after having much more than an "immune response" to my…read morefirst covid vaccine. She wanted me to get checked out just in case. This is a newer building and part of the very nice UC West Chester campus. There is "ideally" plenty of parking, although it is very busy so it might take a few mins, allow for extra time. I was immediately greeted upon entering the main lobby by a woman asking about my covid exposure etc. They then tag you with a red or green sticker and you may proceed on. The people at the eventual office I came here for were so kind and helpful, I was very impressed. I was able to check in contactlessly via my UCHealth MyChart. I did not have to fill out any new paperwork as they utilized it all from there. Wait time was less than 5mins. I was tested while I was here which was easy and painless. The results (neg YaY) appeared in MYChart within 24hrs!! Luckily this was just an adverse event and everyone took great care of me!

The doctors are competent, supportive, careful and caring. I'm surprised how they remember us so well when we are here on a normal basis for family care. I recommend the practice highly.

I was 6 or 7 min late to my appt in Feb and was told they could not see me which was fine, they rescheduled me. I'd been told in the past that if I was w/in 15 min of my appt time they'd still see me. I accept responsibility for being late but charging me a $75 no show fee which they had never done before seemed excessive so I was upset. I dared to ask Barb, the office bully, about it and was yelled at and treated like a child. She threw her hands the air and told me she wasn't doing this today, she was ready to kick me out of the office before my appt after I was checked in and paid copay. I was not feeling well- was crying, hyperventiliating at this point, and she came back in the office, so condescending and sarcastic, asking me "are you calm now?" I was never disrespectful, never yelled at her, was only upset. I heard her loudly ranting in the office hall about me; couldn't talk to Luke, , my provider at all because I felt like she was listening at the door. That's how unprofessional this woman was to me. I'd never dream of treating someone that way. I left the office in a near panic attack that day and haven't been back or heard from them since. I thought I built a mutually trusting, caring relationship over the years with this family practice but that is impossible here. I'm giving two stars because Luke the NP was kind and listened to me. Save yourself the trouble. Why work in a doctor's office if you actually hate the patients? Sometimes on the phone they seem to be rushing, but when you are in front of them, they take such good care. Dr. Huang is absolutely worth the 30 minute drive from my home. He is focused, answers questions and concerns with compassion and clarity, and asks good follow up questions so you don't leave feeling like you have missed something. It's awesome. Bob, hands down, is a treasure. Every single time I have needed an immunization, flu shot, or blood drawn, this man has been positive, caring, and gentle. He practices painless precision and as someone who would rather eat glass than get a needle in my arm, I can say he has never been impatient or whoopsied and caused pain. He just gets in. Plus, with his beard, he looks a little like Santa. It is a wonderful practice with good people. If you are looking for a PCP, I cannot recommend them higher.

Wow! Amazing patient care from the time I called to make my appointment to the time I left…read more Highly recommend, Dr. Kelly Metz and staff if you need to be seen for Allergy and Sinus relief!!! I was recommended to Dr. Metz's office for consultation and allergy testing, I was quickly scheduled. I was immediately greeted when I walked into the office by the receptionist and she efficiently double checked my information and I only had to update one form for them (excellent!). I was called back within 5 minutes, basically enough time to fill out the form - seriously :-) !! My nurse was super nice and explained everything that was going to take place for my appointment. Dr. Metz came in and spent a significant amount of time with me going over my history and finding out what kind of problems I was having. She then explained what the allergy testing would consist of. My nurse came back in, and again took the time to explain the testing and asked if I had any questions before we began. The actual testing was quick and painless, there are no needles involved - it's just a skin scratch now - bonus- I suppose! After all that, Dr. Metz came back in and again, spent another significant amount of time with me going over the results and a plan of action. I never once felt rushed or that they did not have time for me. It really feels like they cater to their patients. I am so happy, I definitely recommend Dr. Metz and her staff if you are having any kind of allergy, sinus or asthma problems! They so totally rock!

I go to the office on 12/31 to find out what the issue is, he has the nurse sit me in a room and finally after an hour his nurse comes in and says he's going to call a script in before the day is out. It's now 7pm on NYE and there's still nothing called in. I had to go to the ER to get my script refilled. Shame on you, Dr Brown, you cost me $300 at the Emergency Room to get a script I've been taking for over 8 years. I will NOT ever be back! I wish I could give ZERO stars...
