They have tips and tricks I never even knew about and this wasn't my first physical therapy. Ron is a miracle man. He knows exactly where it hurts and what you should do about it. I will always come back to Athletico in RM.

From my first appointment set up with the receptionist Lizzy to my Physical Therapist Ron, all went really well. I have done PT in the past along with acupuncture at other facilities and can truly do a comparison. My Physical Therapist Ron was amazing,, he took the time with each and every visit to ask about how I was feeling, then explained why I was having pain is these areas and addressed each and every one of them. He listened and gave me the exercises I needed to get back to better movement in my arms due to arthritis in my neck. I also tried something called dry needling which I really feel I benefited from over the acupuncture I have done in past years. I would definitely recommend this facility and Ron and his entire staff . They worked with my schedule for appointments and everyone there was extremely helpful and friendly. Only recommendation I would have for them is to have a sign for out front of their building. It was not easy to find due to many other companies in the same building. They honestly need to address the invisibility of their facility in Rolling Meadows.

Speaking strictly for the physical therapy arm, and not the orthopedic surgery group, I have to say…read morethat Northwest Rehabilitation is the most fantastic experience I have had with a physical therapist in a long time. Matt and Becky are really fantastic at what they do and will give you a program that suits your needs based on really listening to your pain and prescribing a holistic program to address it. They are gentle and attentive, and the assistants at the facility are too. Everyone is very skilled and accommodating and I recommend them to anyone who might need PT services.

First of all, the address for this is wrong. They moved some time ago. I've sent notifications to…read moreYelp several times, but they have not acknowledged my requests. So, the address is actually on Salt Creek Lane and Euclid Road and it is in the building behind the Starbucks. On September 11, 2014 I had my rotator cuff repaired in my right shoulder. The surgeon suggested this place, and even went as far as to recommend Dorota, one of the physical therapists. I've been holding off on posting a review until (1) the address was corrected and (2) I had gone enough times to form a real opinion. I have an opinion and am not going to wait for the address correction any longer. I have been very pleased with the work done there. Dorota is marvelous. While I have been frustrated - I want to go faster, she is quite knowledgeable about how quickly you can go. The building is brand new and very well designed. And, their equipment is all new and state of the art. After three months I am doing very well, and actually am ahead of where there would expect someone of my age with the severity of injury and surgery to be. I am thrilled with the surgeon and indebted to the work done at Northwest Rehabilitation.

Kate and Mark were fantastic. I felt comfortable right away. They helped me understand how my…read moreinjury happened, what each piece of my shoulder was, how it worked, and what the problems were. They explained everything we did and hoe it correlated to recovering from my injury. This was key for me. Understanding the 'how' and 'why' makes it much easier for me to commit myself to anything. They worked me hard and put me on the right path to not only living pain-free, but growing in strength and flexibility. My posture is better than its ever been, and thanks to them, it will continue improving. now that I understand how to balance my muscles and how and why stretching affects my body. These two pushed me 3 steps closer to becoming superman. Their inherent knowledge of every bone, muscle, and ligament, how they interact, and how different movements, stretches, and exercises can change the human machine as a whole is both immediately apparent and impressive. Seeing that complete understanding made it very easy to trust in everything that asked of me, as well as everything they asked me to pull the reigns on. I don't do well with being told what to do. I'm bull-headed. I don't accept anything without understanding the logic behind it. It was clear from the beginning that they knew much more than enough to satisfy my need to believe there was sound reasoning for every part of my therapy with them. That trust paid off; I'm doing fantastic! An additional note: Whether or not it's intentional, Kate naturally creates a feeling of community while in the building. She gets everyone talking and interacting while we're going through the often times uncomfortable or painful stretches, exercises, and the myofascial (i just had to google that) releases with the metal tools that look like the back end of a wrench. That made every part of the therapy a lot easier for me, and definitely a few others there. It's easier to take the pain when someone cracks a joke, and we all felt comfortable enough to do so. I am very, very thankful for this.

Kate saw me for a hip and ankle injury that had been persisting for months that I could not get explanations for from my primary doctor. She knew exactly what was going on by the end of the evaluation and explained my injuries in a way I could understand - which was such a relief after months of not knowing! I eventually needed surgery for a torn ligament in my ankle, Kate referred me to a new surgeon who was just as personable, kind and professional as her! My surgery went well and I'm back for more sessions. I'm noticing progress already and look forward to laughing during my therapy with Kate, Mark and Page! Everyone genuinely loves what they do here which makes the clinic super inviting and fun! Check them out, you won't be disappointed!

Dr. Karm and her staff do amazing work!…read more I have been an athlete my entire life: competitive swimmer- turned Crossfitter- turned Orange Theory addict. In July 2021, after seeing an orthopedic doctor and receiving a round of HA gel injections previously, my knee was in an abundance of pain. I could barely walk and it was affecting my ability to work, workout, drive and do normal activities with friends and family. At the advice of a friend, I called Active Care. I had never been to a Chiropractor before but was desperate for help. I was welcomed with friendly faces, a clean and open office, an insurance sheet that told me exactly how much I would owe for what and when, and Doctors with positive attitudes, outgoing personalities, and who truly want the best for you. I saw Dr. Freseth who created a plan for me that included rehabilitation, adjustments, exams, and regular massages with Cheryl. Every rehab session turned into "work and talk" discussions about food, life, athleisurewear and healthy living which made me excited to keep coming back and motivated to keep up my progress. Anytime I have a question about my account statement, I receive a response in less than an hour. By November 2021, I was pain free, back to working out 6x a week, and running faster every day. In February 2022, I had a 2.3 second PR on a 500m row benchmark at Orange Theory, which I credit to Cheryl's massage work earlier in the day and the continued work of the Active Care team on this former athlete's creaky joints.
