On one of the highest ridges of that glacier's terminal moraine sits Morningside Farm. George The Farmer took a bunch of heavily-wooded land, cleared it, prepared the soil, planted, then harvested. That being said, it is a great little apple orchard with outstanding apples bakery, and their apple cider is to absolutely die for. We were asked to clean hands with alcohol so that we don't contaminate their plants. They took good care of the arched and try to protect the customers at the same time. It's probably not a place to bring kids; it's not that kind of fun touristy farm with hay rides. It's full of yellow jackets, and they are attracted to tiny hands full of juice, so it's best to leave your babies with babysitters.
