It's great for gifts,…read moremy everyday deodorant, hand soap and shower foam but also for wonderfully subtle fragrances for body, home and even your car! I mostly come to this store because it's so conveniently located in the station and also it's right next to the station's toilets. Which I often use because they're nice and clean. But I'm getting sidetracked and basically all you need to know is that Rituals is great for making yourself happy or anyone your giving a gift to. Rituals is happiness.

First to review? How? Wait, what? That's crazy!…read more Anyway, this is a great stop. I was helped immediately and tried various foundations and powders but ultimately landed on lipstick. The salesperson was so knowledgeable and recommended different products. I was on the fence so I looked at lipsticks. I gravitate towards certain colors and tested them. The salesperson suggested a color that seemed too light and pink but she told me to trust her. Woila I have a new lipstick! People must think they are an information desk because as people deplaned, several stopped to ask questions about immigration or where things were. The clerks were so helpful to everyone even if they weren't looking at their products. I love Mac products and highly recommend them, especially their lipstick. It's the only kind I'll ever use. It's smooth and silky and long lasting. It also doesn't have that weird taste and smell that some others have.

We had a frustrating cancelled flight the night before and we stayed at the Mercure in the airport. Bad news... my make up went in the checked bag. Should I suck it up and go #nomakeup/ nofilter ??? Sure if I was a better woman I would have , but I don't look like Julia Roberts and I have recently been diagnosed with rosacea ....and I am 51....and the rosacea was flaring up. I woke up early , took a crappy hotel shower with harsh products and stumbled around the terminal with a bad attitude and a red face in search of coffee when I stumbled upon MAC. Screw the coffee - this woman needs make up . Last thing I wanted to do is hang out for 5 hours in the airport with a red blustery face (and adding a cranky husband was not going to help) So wandered into Mac ( my fav) and the staff member working totally changed my morning around. She gave me a light but even coverage and made me feel like a new woman. I bought several things - Not due to a hard sell but due to her explaining what works for my skin I left the store with my head held high and a smile on my face I live on the road either in a suitcase working overseas or a camper in the US so have very little room for " fluff". With MAC I get what I need and it takes up minimum space - And it doesn't shatter when I travel like the cheap stuff . Thank you MAC personnel for making my morning and travels much much better !!!

Skins is the absolute best perfume store in Amsterdam and the place to come for high end brands…read morelike Creed, Nasomatto, By Kilian, MFK, etc. Plus, they carry an ever changing array of niche perfume lines that you would be hard pressed to find anywhere else. The staff are friendly and let you sniff to your hearts' content without hovering. There is a cosmetics/skin care area on the top floor too. Highly recommend!
