There are work areas set up for manicures, with all manner of polishes. All staff were extremely welcoming, full of smiles and friendly. I was led upstairs to the Butterfly Room for my treatment. A lovely calming room with the obligatory relaxing music playing. Lucy talked through what she was going to do and checked if I had any skin problems. I thoroughly enjoyed the facial which included an neck, arm and hand massage. It was that good I fell asleep only to be woken when the time was up. I would recommend this treatment and salon to anyone. Fabulous!

They also do a small amount groceries like noodles, tea, coffee, sweets, crisps and soft drinks. If you're thirsty and fancy a can or bottle of pop go in here because it is considerably cheaper. There is a good range of baby stuff like nappies, wipes and powder, a long with a variety of first aid, vitamins, pain killers and hair dye. There are always deals going on in Savers, mostly for toilet roll and deodorants. The queue can get quite large as it is such a convenient shop, especially for the students in town, but the staff are generally friendly and are quick to serve you. Sometimes the shop can get a bit cluttered, but you're not paying a lot to have a shop in perfect tidy condition.

Always good offers to be had and those Boots loyalty points soon rack up if you regularly buy your essentials here. The staff can be slightly hit and miss if like me you need help picking a hair dye due to the sudden spurt of grey hairs! Then again you can't expect staff to be knowledgeable about all products as there are just too many. It's worth noting that you can get your prescriptions sent directly from your GP to the pharmacy and there is even a doctors surgery downstairs for those living in the city centre.
