Service is equally friendly to the one in Emporia and I tend to get lots of freebies as well when I shop here (freebies, ftw!) The shop itself is located on the other end of the mall (not the one near the train station north exit) and it's relatively small, but they have pretty much all the range of L'occitane products that you want to find. The reason I frequent L'occitane shops in Malmö instead of going to the one in Magasin in Copenhagen is because only Malmö shops has 500ml shampoo bottles and refills, and obviously the low Swedish crowns value plays important role as well PS: Do become their member, although you don't live in Malmö. I get newsletter about discounts and new products that I really appreciate. Besides, a membership always earns you extra freebies!

She also pointed out free gifts that are available after spending a certain amount and put Eva K. and my purchase together so that we could achieve it. Finally she put our stuff in separate bags, sprayed some nice perfumes that were similar to our purchases, and threw in some free samples that she thought would match each of us. I wish they had the beauty insider card here, as I used that quite a bit back in California. I also really liked that you were offered samples more to try out products before spending a ton of money on a product you weren't sure about. PLUS, a ton of the brands you can find in the American Sephora isn't available in the Danish Sephora, which is a complete downside. I also wish you could buy online from sephora.dk, i'd say I online shopped the most from Sephora in California, so I miss that option a ton here!

Plus, they carry a large range of brands that would otherwise be hard to find (for example, the awesome natural line from Korres). Sephora Copenhagen is located in the Illums department store. The girls who work there are all very sweet, but the store itself is missing some finer details compared to Sephora USA and Asia. The makeup testing stations aren't always stocked with rubbing alcohol (for sanitizing products), makeup remover, or tissues. The layout and product displays aren't quite as impressive as other Sephoras. And there seems to be simply less selection overall in terms of skincare and hair products. Don't get me wrong, it's still a great place to shop for makeup. If you haven't heard of their rewards program, it's worth checking out. The rewards themselves are mediocre, but the part I've always enjoyed is the little birthday gift Sephora offers every year.

I have tried to ask around in Copenhagen and Oslo, nobody has that but this little shop in the odd deserted mall in Malmö. What can I do? If I must cross country to get my hair looks ok, then so be it. It's kind of a hassle to take your passport with you just to buy a bottle (or refill bag in this case) of shampoo, but hey this girl got no other choice, unfortunately. normally i get my shampoo and conditioner from the airport on the way home from a trip, but now i…read moreknow where to get it relatively close to home. the hard water in copenhagen has really been doing a number on my already lame hair, and l'occitane seems to be the only thing that even comes close to helping. we were offered friendly advice and discounts were pointed out to us. you can also buy refills for the shampoo and conditioner in plastic bags to cut down on packaging waste. the offered products were actually even cheaper than in the duty free shops, if i recall correctly. when our purchases were being packed up, the sales assistance gave us each a handful of nice samples. i'll definitely be back. (:
