My partner and I are traveling again. This time we're in Florida. As usual, my goal is to visit every Lush shop along our route. Today we visited Lush in Jacksonville at St. John's Town Center, located at 4791 River City Rd. The team members greeted us as we walked in and were super nice, offering assistance and demos. Tina was so kind - she made me several samples of my usuals as I'd forgotten to bring them with me! The shop was nicely laid out, very spacious, well-stocked and easy to navigate. I was with two of my friends and we got caught in pouring rain. The ladies in lush were so nice to us, gave us new bags bc the ones we had were ripping from how wet, warm water so we weren't freezing, and let us dry off. They showed us so many cool things and we honestly had a great time in there and we all ended up getting something we love. 10/10 best lush experience. read more

I popped in here earlier today to pick up a gift for my fiancé for her birthday tomorrow. My mom asked me to pick out a few items that she would like and wrap them for her. I was assisted by two very helpful women, Aubrey and Victoria, who answered questions and helped me find a great gift. I ended up buying a Lemongrass Bath Bomb and Lemongrass soap bar. My fiancé loves that smell and she will love these gifts. I always love passing this store as the smell is always super delicious. Some of the items smell like they should be eaten, actually, Victoria told me that a couple of times people have taken bites out of the soaps. Weird. The store is small, but has a nice selection of soaps, shampoos, face masks, bath bombs, etc. There really are a ton of choices. It can be a lot, but the staff is very friendly and you can be in and out in 10 minutes. The only negative is sometimes some of the items seem a bit overpriced. You can always find a deal on some items, but some products seem very pricey. Besides that I love this store and the service. read more

Ok I admit it. I thought Lush was overrated. I thought it was just all overpriced products that were just for those 'extra' girls. Well here's my white flag waving high and proud because I'm a Lush lover now. It only took one visit and I'm hooked. All of the associates were so eager to tell me about different products and demonstrate anything I had questions about. They ENCOURAGE you to try/touch/taste (obviously only if edible) the products so you can get a true feel for what would work best for YOU! I was helped by a number of associates, but Theresa stands out in my mind. She struck up a conversation and stuck with me throughout my entire visit - answering about a gazillion questions. I ended up taking home a face mask, a hair treatment and a bath oil. I've been using the face mask every few days and my skin hasn't looked this great in a SUPER LONG time. I'm excited to take a 'treat yo self day' at home soon to use the bath oil and hair treatment too, but I expect nothing short of amazing. The super fun thing about Lush is they have a trade in/recycling program where you can trade 5 black empty canisters for a free face mask! What a deal! I'll definitely be back soon. And then again. This Lush store looked great and it had things that Lush stores in the SF Bay Area dont have which was cool (I'd have bought two of the things for feet if I didn't have just carry-ons to travel with). I had a lot of help from the lovely young lady named Jordyn (or might be spelled Jordan, Jordynne, Jordin, I feel so embarrassed that I don't know how it's spelled so please forgive me!). She was very quick to answer any time I had a question, and explained the products that I didn't know very well. She definitely knew of what is coming in and what's leaving the inventories, and I'm glad I know now that Lush is discontinuing Cynthia Silvia Stout since now I gotta order a bulk order given it's the best shampoo I've ever used for my hair. Anyway overall great experience. I was helped but also given space when I needed to look around. Glad I was able to make a purchase and if I find myself in Jacksonville again in the near future, I'll definitely come here, and maybe resist bringing my own care products just so I can by smaller containers of items to use as my own hotel skin/hair/face care :) read more

Wow! LUSH is truly an amazing shop! If you've never been in, especially this location, you are definitely missing out. LUSH specializes is fresh, handmade cosmetics and they are just across the board AWESOME! You'll find everything from hair care to foot care at LUSH, but most coveted are their amazing bath bombs and bubble bars. These are a really neat way to create a fun and luxurious experience out of your normal bath time routine. I definitely suggest trying one (or a few) of them out. There are a lot of seasonal product ranges that come and go from LUSH, so be sure to talk to a sales ambassador to find out more about the latest goodies! I think my favorite of these are the Valentine's Day and Christmas product ranges!! You gotta stop in and check out some of the limited edition bath bombs, shower gels, soaps, etc. There's pretty much going to be something new to check out every couple of months. The staff at LUSH are just awesome, they are always willing to go the extra mile and will demonstrate pretty much any product you want them to in order to help you get a better understanding of the product and to make sure it's the right one for you! I personally did not do any shopping here but my youngest daughter did. Little girl has some expensive taste. Lol. If it weren't for her, I probably would not have stepped foot into this store since I'm used to shopping at Bath & Body Works. I don't know much about Lush, but I do know they're known for their bath bombs. It's a fun place to shop due to all the colorful products. Their soaps are sold by weight (1/4 lb) so it can get pricey depending on how much you buy. If you want to test out something, you can request a sample size and they'll cut a small sliver for you to bring home. My daughter purchased a bomb for around $8, so definitely affordable but pricey for what you get. The customer service here is awesome!! Everyone here is so friendly and helpful. read more

Went today to get a gift for a friend and they've blocked off the entrance and have customer service outside to shop for you. Worst service and horrible personality. All they wanted to do was close the store and they made it perfectly clear as we walked in. Girls inside were pretentious and you get the feeling they don't want you or your business when inside. The products themselves all seemed to be ridiculously overpriced for the actual amount of product you receive. It was a good lesson to teach my daughter how not to act and what a repulsive personality looks like live and in person. read more

Although I was only there to check out a Lush store for the first time, I felt it necessary to mention how beautifully organized and clean this location was. When you walk in, don't be surprised by the wall of fragrance you walk into as you open the door. It's a bit much but you get adapted to it the longer you are there. Also worth mentioning, the staff was very attentive and there to help with selections and questions, if I had any. All of them were pleasant, smiled and seemed to really enjoy working there. I believe that makes a huge difference in how a customer responds to the offer of help with purchases. It was a fun visit and if I hadn't been on a strict budget, I would have purchased a few things I'd seen. read more

I've passed this spot a few times and never stopped in. Last night I decided to take a peek. I love all the different items in the store-most I've never heard of. I did purchase 2 bath bombs, shampoo & conditioner. I will post pictures and ingredients of each. Being Afro-American I'm not sure how my hair will do with the sea salt added but I'm really excited about the protein in the shampoo. I did wash my hair with the items for the 1st time last night and it feels really soft but I've yet to put any heat on it just yet. I also was given a sample of the charcoal teeth chews because the store was actually out of them for purchase. I did try a tab this morning and honestly I didn't see any difference-maybe I just need to use them more than once. I will continue to try the samples to see if I see a difference by the end of the week. This store was busy even at 8 at night and it was a bit hard obtaining assistance. My biggest CON was the very overpowering smell of all the different scents. I had the worst headache when I left the store. I know it's something that can't be helped but just a warning for my sensitive nose people-just beware. I will definitely be making my purchases online from now on. read more

My husband and I stopped by Lush at the Town Center on 3/30 in the evening and had an excellent experience! The employees are always welcoming, friendly, and helpful. One girl in particular was exceptional! I wish I had gotten her name to give her individual praise, but unfortunately don't remember it. She answered all of our questions about the shower bombs and offered to demonstrate one. We usually turn down demonstrations because we don't want to inconvenience anyone, but she was more than happy to spend time "pampering" me. We will absolutely come back!! read more

Amazing, Simply Amazing from being greeted by Elizabeth and Merari two wonderful and beautiful young ladies who are very informative about their work. It's like walking into a flower shop filled with beautiful arrangements. The store is a little small, but so personal from the door entrance to the cash register. It's sensory overload from all the wonderful smells like honey, coconut, cocoa butter, fruits and flowers. I love that we were able to try the products and we were asked about allergies . Great because my sister is, plus, plus and we left with a couple of bags. It is a bit pricey, like most things that are natural. This is a new spot and a must try. read more

First of all, I LOVE Lush and constantly use their products. The main thing I use is their Dirty hair styling cream, and of course a variety of face masks and bath bombs. This visit was meant to be for me but Luke won the spotlight this time and bought a face wash for him, which is quite funny since I had to FORCE him to enter the store. I frequent this locations particularly because of the friendly workers, and a tad biased since a few friends use to work here a while ago. I suppose people come and go, yet the service level is always out of this world. As normal, we were greeted immediately once we walked in, and asked if we needed help by several ladies. While looking for something new for myself, Luke pointed out a face bar which smelt quite nice. It was the Charcoal Face Bar. We asked questions about it, and based on his skin type, we were redirected to two other products, in which he got to sample in the store. I wish I remembered the reps name since she was VERY knowledgeable and friendly. All the ladies there were since we were helped by so many! We ended up purchasing the Kalamazoo Face Wash that he tried out, as well as took home a sample of the original charcoal mask that caught his interest. Quality of service and care of your customers DEFINITELY impacts one's experience, which is why Lush truly deserved all 5 stars! read more

I have come to this location a few times but Mainly wanted to do a review because of the associate who helped us. Valerie was immediately pleasant from the moment we walked in. She was very descriptive on certain products and knowledgeable of how they would best be used. I personally really liked a coffee ground mask and asked her how it would benefit my skin. I have to say that I was kinda disappointed with this place. Upon walking in we were greeted very cordially but the store and the open products didn't look their cleanest. Not super messy but definitely not pristine either. The products have nice descriptions but no ingredient lists listed near them. I ended up walking out of the store because the scents were very strong. My friend did buy something and It was prepackaged so I looked at the ingredient list and one of the first ingredients was a type of sulfate! I'm sure many of their products are possibly all natural but I guess I was disappointed to see sulfates on their ingredient list since they are "vegan, natural, and handmade" products. I just don't see all the hype. I might go back to try one of their 100% natural products but I have to research their website to find a product with no synthetic chemicals. My advice to anyone is check your ingredient lists and don't be fooled by gimmicky phrases that could possibly mean nothing. read more

I can only review for the staff working there at this exact time, which I am: the staff is amazing. First of all, the last two times I went in, it was an all-woman crew, which personally puts me extremely at ease and improves my shopping experience. The ladies were incredibly nice- and there was none of the infamous insane product pushing. The general vibe was so pleasant and happy. They have a great selection and the store size is decent, nothing feels crowded. I definitely prefer this to the Avenues location, which has very "eh" and disinterested staff. I generally know what Im looking for and let them know; they dont keep trying to push products after that. And if I do need help, theyre really sweet and informative without trying to get me to try or buy 10 things. read more

I can't remember the employees name, but I came into the store September 18th with my mom and my Yorkie. I explained to the girl that I love lush products, but I have an allergy to nuts, so a lot of the moisturizing products I can't use. I also have severly bad psoriasis that I've taken multiple medications for, expensive creams, lotions, changes in diet, EVERYTHING. This employee, without skipping a beat referred me to the Dream Cream body lotion. Not expecting much out of it, I figured I'd give it a try. This lotion has almost completely cured my psoriasis! It relieves my flare ups almost instantly, reduces bumpy texture and inflammation, and is completely nut free! I use it everyday, and I can not thank this employee enough, and now this product is one of my must haves! read more

To say that I love Lush is an understatement. My husband and I used to drive down to The Florida Mall solely to "re-up" on our Lush products. If you haven't taken a stroll into Lush, do it. You'll find something you adore! The store smells heavenly and they have something for everything. Lush creates handmade soaps, shampoos, lotions, bath bombs, and more. They use a lot of fresh and organic products and stray away from harsh chemicals. I'm obsessed with the Big Shampoo, Coal Face, T'eo Deodorant, and Veganese Conditioner. I was assisted immediately by 2 people. 1 did a bubble bar demo.... which I was thankful for because it kept the kids occupied as I spoke with the other gal. I smelled all the bath bombs and such... they all smelled pretty good. They are a little pricey, but it was explained to me that it's because they want people to be paid fairly. Ok.....So I went in here to find Christmas gifts for my son's girlfriend and daughter. Little did I know that I would strike up some very interesting conversation with a sales associate. Let me tell you, they know their stuff at lush. We ended up buying a couple of gift boxes, but I got some really awesome samples of high quality products, both of which I've used and would like to purchase. They gave me samples of this amazing shampoo called DADDYO and some shave / face cream called Kalamazoo. I was very impressed with the store on a very crowded Saturday afternoon. As a new customer to Lush Cosmetics, I'd have to say entering the store was a little overwhelming (But not in a bad way!) from the intense, heavenly aroma to their table display of fresh face masks, giant slabs of homemade soaps, and piles of infamous "Bath Bombs". This is the first and only Lush store visited so far so, my review about the staff is solely based on the Town Center location. The girls I met were very friendly and helpful in telling me all about their wonderful products. I even snagged a few, free samples! They slice you soaps like cheese at the deli, and you can try a new soap at a small chunk at $5 or $6. Overall, I'd give a 4-star rating due to the fact that their products are a little pricey and you can easily spend more than what you intended to. My current "Lushies" obsessions are: ~Bubblegum lip scrub (It tastes so yummy and leaves your lips feeling soft!) ~Catastrophe fresh facial mask (Smells like delicious blueberries and leaves your face feeling refreshed) ~Ultrabland facial cleanser (A MUST-BUY! I normally wouldn't rave about something so drab as a facial cleanser but stuff this is AWESOME. It removes eye-makeup so fast n' easy without any irritation to the eyes. I wish I could give an 0. Lush STOLE money from me. I placed an order as a gift and they charged me twice, duplicating my order somehow. I called and very kindly asked for a refund of the duplicated order. They refused to refund me my money even though it was a glitch in their system that caused my order to get processed twice. I spent over an hour on the phone and online chatting with their customer service and they refused to do anything and did not apologize or anything. I WILL NEVER SHOP at LUSH again and hope no one else has this same experience! read more

Love all things Lush! Love the fact that they are organic and vegan friendly is awesome, my current favorite product is their mint julip sugar lip scrub. Not only does it make your lips smooth but you don't have to worry about it getting in your mouth bc it's edible, and has a great refreshing flavor, although I wouldn't just buy it as a snack...LOL! They also have full body salt scrubs, oatmeal facial masks, a huge variety of soaps, and of course the bath "bombs" these are not real explosives. They are meant for those bath lovers, you simply take it drop it in your bath water and watch the fizz go! My sister got me a Santa one for Christmas a few years ago before Lush had made the Florida scene. Another great thing about Lush is if you save the containers that your scrubs/masks or whatever black pot has a reusable sticker on the top, when you run out instead of throwing the pots/jars away clean them out and save them once you have five bring them back to a Lush store and they will refill one of your jars/pots with one of your favorite products for free! read more

Gave 1 star cause I couldn't give anything less. A sales representative named Abby was extremely rude and disrespectful. I tried to ask her a question in which she didn't let me finish, she tried to answer my question with out knowing what I was trying to ask. I tried to ask again but she proceeded to interrupt again and answer a question I could even finish asking. Both times I didn't get a response I was looking for. I didn't even bother looking around in the store. Sales representative are supposed to be helpful, cause that's what their there for. To answer question, if the customer could actually get it out. I wouldn't think about coming here again seeing as to how disrespectful big sales representatives are. Not worth anyone's time! read more

This Sunday was the first time that I've been in a Lush Store. I've always wanted to purchase their products but I don't live near a retail location. I definitely wanted to be able to smell the products and see them before purchasing. I found that this location was very organized. I spoke to atleast 3 sales associates and they were all amazing and kind. I have never been in a store where the retail associates wanted to help you as much as possible. They were also pretty busy. I wish I lived closer so I could go to that location all of the time. Also the smell of the store was very nice. It wasn't super strong like walking into a bath and body works. read more
